Emilie Simon (she's a French singer so you probably never heard about her),Superbus (French as well), Archive, Jason Forrest (War Photographer). Dunno exactly what kind of music this is but I also really like Rob Dougan and ES Posthumus.

Uhm... I'd recommend Dragonforce, Rammstein, Atreyu, Nightwish, The Panic Channel, but most of all, Gackt. The best Japanese rock I've ever heard (not really including Miyabi). I'm addicted to the song "Returner".
