Do Square Enix character have a place in Smash Bros?

I know what some of you enix fans are thinking. Being able to play as Cloud or Sepheroth or Squall and pounding the mush out of eachother. There have been a TON of hate forums on other sites from poeple saying how it would be stupid and enix wouldn't do that kind of thing with nintendo. But with all the games they are making (ff12 revinant wings and a new crystal chronicles) I see it as plausible. The least we should get is a chocobo as an assist character...

The only Final Fantasy characters that could be in Brawl are from FF1-6 or Crystal Chronicles, and none of those characters are memorable at all.

Using Snake was enough of a stretch. I highly doubt they'll go for a Squaresoft / Square Enix character.

I only see Geno coming in, but he would need a strong and clever moveset to get in, which is not easy to think of.

Sega can easily get in. Mario and Sonic at the Olympics? as far as I know that wasnt ever disproven.

My wish list is Snake, Sonic, MegaMan, and Crash Bandicoot. Crash looks like he was made for this game

Uh, dude.

Crash has never once been on a Nintendo console. He has no chance.

Sonic has been on Nintendo consoles, as has Megaman, so they're options. Metal Gear Solid started on NES, so that was an option.

Wrong. Crash was on the GameCube at one point. Also, he has about 4 games on the gameboys.

Even so, Crash is the last mascot I'd think to put in a game like this. I mean, look at all the alternatives. Sonic, Ray-Man, Bomberman, even Pac-Man among dozens of others.

They probably wont put him in, but he would fit will and I think he'll be fun to play as.
Pac-Man is the one who scares me....he wouldnt do so good gameplay wise

Weapon? I could imagine him running around trying to eat the players. It would probably act like a a bob-omb... that eats you and smakes you into the air.

It'd be cool to see a chocobo cameo but that's as far as I'd like the idea of Enix being in Smash to go.

Could be the Yoshi counterpart.

well i would wanna see a square-enix character on super smash.
although sephirot, cloud, zidane, squall and tidus are very memorable characters, they can't be in smash or obvius reasons.
i think cecil, or terra would be welcome in super smash. i mean if snake could enter why not a final fantasy character?

Probably because of relationships between the developers.

Sakurai and Kojima have been in contact since Super Smash Bros. on N64. Kojima actually asked Sakurai to put Snake into Melee, but he said he couldn't fit him in as the game was too far into development.

Needless to say, they've had a close relationship. Kojima's already played the game and is even designing the Snake stage for the game.

Hideo Kojima is working with Nintendo.....not Konami (iirc)

Not only that, but I dont think it'll be that fun. Most DDR players even hate the dancers.
