Default CALLING ALL METAL PAD OWNERS!!!

Hey all! I just downloaded the two new song packs and unlocked EVERY song for Ultramix, fun fun ^_^. But now its time to get a hard pad. My older bro is turnin 16 Feb26 and hes thinking about getting a hard pad, but is annoyed because of the fact that they r hard to find. I have heard that acrylic arrows crack, but the polycarbonite are hard to find. Also the $ is a very big issue. I was wondering where you people got ur hard pads and how they are working out. All help is greatly apprectiated.

PS: XBOX only! polycarbonite is easy to find for PS2 but nearly impossible for XBOX

Well then why don't you just get a PS2 one, and buy an adapter?

Try and search for those RED OCTANE pads. Oh, and the converter and pad can be found at playasia.com

Red octane dont give out free shipping for metal pads, ill cost you $240 altogether.Cf pads cost about $300 but is probably the best one you can buy at this time.Red octane gives you a free converter for ps/ps2/xbox, i dont know if Combalt flux have one for xbox

Metal pads are expensive, hard to maintain, and are very annoying to have laying around your floor in many cases. The pad at this link: http://www.redoctane.com/ignitionpad.html has the stability and response of a metal pad while also having flexibility, light weight and MUCH lower price. I've had one for about 6 months, playing consistantly, and never had a problem with it breaking down or not registering arrows. If you really are insistant on a metal pad though, redoctane or ebay is your best bet. After getting one just get a compatible PS2 to XBOX adapter and you're good to go.

I think it is easy to find hard pads on the Internet. To find it...
1. Go to Internet. 2. Type on website bar," www.ebay.com" 3. Type in search bar DDR. 4. Just hope for the best...

Make one. My metal pad and it works like a dream. It cost me about $115 for all the materials, then 5 hours or so to build the whole thing. It's just like at the arcades, and is really responsive. I've had it for 3 months now without a hitch.

cobalt flux is your answer. i own a doubles pack, and have been EXTREMELY satisfied with it. it's also good practice for the arcade once you synch your games. if you want to learn to beat max300 or maxx unlimited without the bar, this IMO is the best way to start.

I just got mine from http://BUYnSHOP.com last week. It works like a charm and never broke, no defects, nothing. Cheap.
