I think the Wii is amazing. It has defied gaming in every way, and Miyamoto has not faioled to surprise us yet. What do you think about the wii? How do you compare it with the PS3 and the Xbox 360?

I haven't played the Wii but from what i have heard its cool at first but then it gets boring fast, and also due to the lack of good 3rd party games theres not going to be many good games, I own a 360 and its awesome imo. It currently has the best online system, and its has the most games due to its been out the longest, and it has a great 3rd party selection.

i think the wii is a great console, right now i haven't played a game since super paper mario (but hey in summer there is nothing new)
the console is taking the attention of many 3rd party developers just look at a big list of good games that are coming for the wii. i never got bored of the motion controls, i get bored of the game onces i got a 100% on it XD, well except zelda i'm in my second walkthrough and i'm not gonna get more than 8 hearts (kind of a hard mode). as a comparison with the other consoles, i think is imposible, the wii is just different, it targets 2 audiences, many people say the wii has last generation graphics (and in some games is true) but i think wii it's a real next-gen, nintendo didn't wanted their console to be an upgrade of graphics, but they wanted something new, and fresh (and hey look at many games that are good with motion controls, dragon ball Z 4 out of 5) at last i think this console has enough to keep going, and don't get me wrong the other next-gen consoles are great, but my favorite is the wii (and i wanna buy a ps3 for many games on th system) |

it's great and all, but i've played a bunch of games and i've been able to finish the game in anywhere from 72 hours to as little as 12, and i only play for a couple hours and go away and come back and play for a bit longer. finished harry potter 5 in like 24 hours. i love the system and the new version of game play but i go and rent a game for a couple dollars for 3 days, and i bring it home and start playing and i'm usually done by the next day, and it just sits there beside the wii waiting to go back to the store because i've finished playing. i have yet to buy a game that looked good to me because i had a feeling that it wouldn't last longer than a couple days for game play. turns out i'm right. but the wii is a great console other than the current flaw in length of gameplay.
