![]() What is "playing spread" and "playing centered" ? I am unfamilliar whith this terminology.

![]() Playing spread is simply when you put your right hand on "j" and "k" and put your left had on "d" and "s". So your hand correspond to the panels at the top of the screen.
"s"-left arrow, "d"-down arrow, "j"-up arrow, and "k"-right arrow. It's just an easier way to place your hands. Most index players find it quite difficult.

![]() Thank-you, I was not aware that one could use theese keys. I shall have a go.
Edit: Tried using the letterrs you suggested but they dont work do i need to change a setting? I can play with the number pad and the arrow keys, same sort of thing i guess. Last edited by 4_teddybears; 08-24-2007 at 06:25 PM.. |

![]() Spread can also be on the arrow keys an numpad with no software installed.

![]() Yeah, but Spread is mostly on A (left), S (down), K (up), and L (right). I used to play on the arrow keys/numpad, but my PA sucked that way.
