*gasp* You hurt the feelings of the admins!!! It is not a waste of time.
Well, coming from the guy that isn't even that good (only have 4 AAA's)...
But, FFR is still good. It is what puts some interest into my life when I am bored.
On the other hand, when you think of it, everything has some point of boredom in it. Maybe because we have nothing to do, really...

Is making a thread debating whether FFR is a waste of time or not and sitting around waiting for responses a waste of time?

FFR helps build you're reaction time and concentration. Think of you're self like a ninja, and you're slowly learning how to slow down time with your mind threw years of training lol. Cause when you actually get used to this game, You're mind really does slow down time, Or atleast it seems like it when you're playing.

Many things are wastes of time, Those wastes of time are what people do for fun.

Nothing is really a waste of time tho, The only way to waste time, is to not use time at all, and merely sit in one place, blank minded.

If you like doing something, and you are dedicated in doing it, it's clearly not a waste of time on your behalf. If it'll get you somewhere, great. It'll only be a waste of time if it tends to lack you interest. Other than that, people has different perspective on things, so who are we to judge others?

But IMO, FFR is my second home. =) End of discussion.

It is a waste of time, unless you have no other intrest. the the point of me playing it/posting/stepping/testing/whatever on this site is that I have nothing else to do.

You know, Kevin_18 came to a point were he wanted to do something more real then hang the internet playing SM, and he simply left and started to have fun. You should see this a s something to do (other then drugs) untill you see something better.

when you see something better, do it and leave. Just remember, as long as your having fun and not hurting someone, it's cool.

lol! This thread was a complete waste of your time. Why would you post on a site you thought was a complete waste of time?Anyway the answer is yes...yes it is,and so is playing other video games,Sex,Talking (unless its your job to talk),watching pr0n,makeing yourself dinner(Because you can get other to do that),Brushing your teeth, going to sleep (because you waste like 36 years of your life sleeping),washing dishes (Unless you have a dishwasher that loads itself),going out for special events, ect.

WTF?....Ninjas?Slowing down time?I agree with reaction thing but Ninja reflexes and time retarding?

Edit-Oh yes and actually almost all video games increase reaction timeing, except for games like metrivia.
Also would haveing fun at your job be wasting your time?
I don't think thats wasting time....or is it wasting time productively? O_o

Just cause you don't have AAA's doesn't mean you're not good haha, If you're like me, You're computer lags a bit on FFR, Making it hard to keep a PERFECT on every single note.
People should be judged on FC's.

This game is Obviously a waste of time...

Thats why we all play it. What would be the point of being on the computer if your not wasting time?

How is having fun and feeling a sense of accomplishment when you meet a certain goal a waste of time? A better question would be is ffr productive, and the answer to that would most likely be no.

It may seem like a waste of time, but myself along with thousands of other people have nothing better to do when we play FFR. I'm just getting through high school right now, so there's not much I want to do with most of my time. Not that I don't leave the house every day of summer.

And it really does help increase speed and reflexes be it in your fingers or eyes. Four and a half months ago I could barely FC the mario remix. Now I can keep decent combos and get top 400-500 scores on the Master's and Guru's songs along with FCs on most songs up through challenging difficulty. Something I can still improve on is keeping the beat with trills.

It's a matter of what you want to do with your life or what best gives you the feeling of accomplishment.
