FotS is one of the most worthless charts ever made. Half of the **** doesn't go to anything, the minijacks are only stepped in one part of the song even though that sound appears in other places, the solo is synced incorrectly, and IT'S NOT FUN.

In summary, your opinion is completely wrong. Good day.

EDIT- DukAmok's Holy Orders is like the exact same thing as Emerald Sword. Same for Since 1983 (or w/e it is) How could you like one but not something almost the exact same? Also, Duk's Big Blue is tons of fun, and so are his pad edits.

i said somewhere that holy orders was my favorite sim of his.

whatever about fots, obviously it isn't the best sim or even a great sim, but i just listed the first few "good" sims i thought of. though it has problems, it is still relatively good.

wow what

okay the prototype I can understand, it's really fun, but I thought you were talking about quality here

fots are you even joking rofl no comment

w@rez I think zagh said he didn't really like after he made it and it's not by sharpnel

emerald sword was great at the time it was made, but if you think that's a good file, I can link you to an absolutely ridiculous number of similar files

duk's files are dated, sure, but they were pretty much cutting-edge at the time they were made, and they're still a blast to play

you're just making yourself sound like an ignorant kid with a grudge

this is about him making PAD charts for konami, anyway

i do have a grudge i guess. i don't like duk.

of course there are a ridiculous number of files similar to emerald sword, i was just listing a few files i like. at the time i hadn't even played SM in 2 weeks so my memory was a little rusty. the only duk file i would consider "a blast to play" would be holy orders, and the jumps are really bad in some places.

i'm done arguing, congrats duk.

Gazeebo, I will say that his Holy Orders needed the gap fixed slightly, otherwish a great file.

Thanks everyone. To anyone who has any odd ideas as to what exactly I will be doing, I suggest you read my LJ post, I'm not going to be making ridiculously hard things. Nor will I have a monopoly on harder charts. The entire process is pretty cooperative between multiple people.

I'm sorry to hear that I guess, but I really have no idea why. You mentioned you went to a Rocky Mount tournament, maybe I snubbed you or something? I did my best to be friendly with everyone I met, but it's hard to actually interact with like 80 people at once, so my apologies if I somehow offended you at a dancing game tournament.

Danceguy pretty much has it nailed, here. My files are several years old, and they seem to have gone out of style, and I'm fine with that. At the time, they were pretty popular for whatever reason, so apparently people enjoyed playing them.

Judging steps and charts is pretty ridiculously subjective. Arguing about it is like arguing over whether vanilla tastes better than chocolate. Some people prefer certain things (for instance, you seem to like w@rez and FotS), while others don't (I for one hate both of those charts). That's not a basis for an argument. That's just a difference in taste.

If you're honestly worried about my terrible charts infiltrating the top-notch quality that is the DDR series, I think you should rethink your stance a little bit. Not only does DDR have a great number of objectively terrible charts (wrong rhythms, wrong sync, not matters of personal taste), most of my charts will not be in my usual "style". But if you choose to continue this one-sided flamewar, be my guest. Just don't expect me to reciprocate such a baseless argument.

Looking back I realize I've said some unreasonable baseless things, but you misunderstood. I was never worried about your charts "infiltrating" DDR, which I understand has many bad charts and problems, and it's obvious that you couldn't step charts for DDR in the same style as your SM sims.

I agree with you on the topic of this chart vs that chart, and I hope you do a good job and help make some good files. Congrats on the job.

Thanks.

I'm well aware that I have legions of mindless fanboys who like my charts for no other reason than my notable skill in either Stepmania or dancing games, and I think that's a pretty deplorable reason to enjoy anything. Believe it or not, I do actually appreciate people taking the time to disagree with me, it shows a certain ability to think for yourself. Not to say that anyone who agrees with me is a mindless fanboy (sup hi19 ;] ), but being contrary for similar reasons is just as mindless, I hope you realize that.

I mean, no one can deny that you are fuccen insaen on pad, and I am actually a fan on a basis of your skill. I do realize that being a mindless hater is just as bad, but I am not giving only baseless opinions. Scattered throughout my posts are reasons for why I dislike certain files of yours. Out of place jump runs and too many 16ths at high tempos just made some of your files not feel right to me. I haven't played any of your files in awhile so it's difficult to name things about specific charts.

And at Rocky Mount, it wasn't necessarily that you snubbed me, it was that you seemed really stuck up. You probably aren't like this all the time, and it's understandable seeing as you are treated with basically celebrity status (well deserved too hehe). But I'm over any grudge I had, you seem a lot more down to earth and I was blowing things out of proportion.
