I agree with you. And I can't stand the people that say that DDR is not dancing and exercise. But I guess that they are saying that because they suck at it. I know, I'm pro at DDR and I agree with you, while my friends who suck, on the other hand, would disagree with us. ITG has a lot less songs than DDR and is not as fun, because it has no J-Pop, and J-Pop songs are the most fun songs hands down. I tell you, J-Pop songs on DDR go fast and have better stepfiles than songs that are not J-Pop, or J-Rock, or whatever. FFR is fun, but it is not as fun as DDR.

The reason DDR has many more songs than ITG is because it's been around for somewhat 10 YEARS!!! They're already on 11th mix! ITG only had 2. They were working on there 3rd one, but they had to cancel thx to that certain someone! That certain someone would be your precious DDR creators (all hands point to) > Konami < Also, of course ITG isn't gonna have J-pop, ITG was made by americans. One more thing, those americans that made ITG are the same ones that made your stepmania program (that's right, ITG runs off the stepmania engine).

Lol, DDR does NOT have more songs.
And never will.
Because an ITG machine can be modded, updated, and have songs added.
The ITG machines at the arcade I work at have over 1,000 songs on each of them.
Including some of the songs here on FFR such as [Shiki - Air]
Not only that but you can update STEPFILES onto your USB MEMORY CARD and play whatever song you want from stepmania or whatever. There's a step file my friend Jeff (Xenos) has of Doll and it's 10 times harder than DOLL challange on DDR with better steps, and it's just more fun. He has one of Xepher too.

So in conclusion, ITG is better not because it has more than DDR.
Not just because it better put together (pad wise, program wise, visually, and musically) but because it has the potential to be whatever you want it to.
Unlike DDR.

Yes there was going to be an ITG3, but Komani sued them.
That didn't stop the release of the ITG3 program however, which is (along with fifteen other dance packs) is modded onto the two machines at my arcade and many others.
And also available for the computer for download.

Good ITG is underground.

I only heard about it and seen the game sold in stores. I never knew it was that popular... =\ I thought it was just another rip off of ddr. lol

But anyhow, As for the poll, its not 100% accurate for me since i never played ITG, but i have to say its a tie between DDR/FFR. They are both really good. But since ddr IS the origional, i have to give credit to them. If it wasnt for konami, we wouldnt even have this game... Unless ITG came out later on in the future... But whatever. =P DDR it is.
