How do your parents feel about your playing SM/FFR? - Page 12

My parents aren't all that impressed with my FFR skills, but they are with my DDR skills...

FFR:
Mom: that game again? get off the computer
Dad: i could do better... i've been playing with those four arrows longer than you have in many other games

DDR:
mom: how are you that good?
dad: can i try??

lol when i play ffr my mother gets so anoyed but when i turn on my ddr she trys to steal my controller.my dad.. well i dont live with him, and i certainly dont like him. therefor- i couldnt care less with him watching me play. when u barricade, do u put a chair under the door handle first? try that then barricade it. see how that works. but test it out with your friends first. that way you cant get in trouble if it doesnt work with.

My parents, tell me after. I've been on for like 7 hours to go out and enjoy the fresh air. I just say okay, walk my dog. and go back to the stattion, of FFR.

See they cant pull that one on me, since from 9 to 4, i am a camp counselor and that is all outside. Well, at least they can't complain until school starts up again, then they will be.

my Dad gets annoyed by the songs and the clicking while my mother doesn't know what FFR is all about

for my Dad I always turn up my vol. and click hit the keys as hard as I can
for my mom I always say either " this game increases ur reflexes by telling u when and where to hit the arrows" or "its because for every arrows clicked from this game, giant arrow robots are being made"

My dad thinks it's a complete waste of time, and that I should be using the time to put together a portfolio for college, or at least something more productive than FFR. My mom loves the game and can't believe that I've become as good as I have. My grandparents also think I would be a piano prodigy should I play it.
And everyone else just thinks I have too much free time on my hands.

my dad supports me in anything i do, he just suggests that i play the piano more or something when he sees me playing SM

my mom thinks it is a complete waste of time and i no longer speak to her, i stay in this room 18 hours a day with the door locked (at least during the summer). it really doesn't have a lot to do with SM, i just think she is a materialistic power-hungry and self-righteous bitch.

My dad laughs at me whenever i'm doing hard/fast songs.
He doesn't care that i play, and makes fun of me when someone really good beats me.
other than that, he has nothing to say other than "Man, your girlfriend must love you."

The only reason my mom lets me play ffr is cuz i convinced her it will speed up my fingers on the piano lol. Or else this is exactly wut wud have happened had she seen me playing:

mom: ''Im disappointed in u dear child. Is this wut u do for fun? Go outside and get a feel of the real world. You pathetic useless dirtbag, no wonder its obvious u will amount to nothing. Who goes anywhere in life pressing 4 arrows?''
(Then I wud play a very difficult song and mesmerize her with my skill.....for a second before she wud go on again)
