Default Probably not something you'd expect someone to brag about...

...but I've (apparently) been a member for 4.5 years. In comparison, Synthlight has been a member for 4.68.

What does this tell you? I've been playing FFR for way too long. I do know, however, that I have definetly taken some long breaks here and there (I recently did the math; I've played an average of just a little beyond 1.5 games a day, despite the fact that I now easily play ten songs or more a day.)

What do I have to show for this? Nothing, really. I'm a fairly mediocre player. The only scores I have to be proud about are my FCs of CIA Rave, Delerium, Seven, Brain of the Moon, and [Blaze] (and one miss on Classical Insanity). There are a few other good non-FC scores I have hovering around, but nothing really worth mentioning, I guess. AAA's elude me; I can not AAA even the simplest of songs. I will always make a mistake somewhere and get a Good.

Anyway. I'm not clear on the history of FFR such as when it all began (I'm just going by how long Synth has been a member), but there are a few things I am clear on. I'm proud to say I've stuck by it for this long, I'm proud to say I still don't suck abysmally after all this time, and I'm proud as hell to say that I'm one of (if not the only) the longest-running active FFR players.

...no, seriously, are there any active players who's accounts are older than mine? I want to know. >_>

There are still active members who joined in 2002.

nestlekwik is the longest running non-synth... although he's also an admin.

jewpin is also from nov 2002.... but he's a forum mod.

danceguyis the longest running non-staff member... dec 02.

but, there are not that many from 2002 or early 2003.

I've been wondering why Synth wasn't the first member.

Thank you. This is an answer I was looking for.

I knew I wasn't the only one, I just couldn't find them. I tried; I really did. I sorted profiles by newest to oldest once and went back a bunch of pages. Though, by the time I hit page 70 or so, the profiles were still only 0.14 years old. I gave up that strategy pretty quickly.

I'm still proud to say I'm an FFR vet (maybe not as good a player as one, but have been playing just as long). I'm improving a lot since I discovered FFR has speed mods, but I still think I'm at my limit for now. You'd just have to see me play to know how "okay" I am at the game.

Also...

I hate this. I hate it when people ignore anything i have to say because I don't summarize my entire post in as little words as possible. When I type, I type what the hell I think, and I don't think in eight words or less. Just because someone is lazy, it doesn't give them the right to insult me by telling me I either type too much or they're ignoring me. If you're not going to read what I have to say, don't say anything to me.

I wish I was a member about 3 years before I first came here. That way, you won't feel alone. Still, you're not alone anyway, and I would like to congrats on still being here.

I've totally got to get playing a lot more than I am now; I have many months of absences to make up for. I could easily be in the double digits in terms of total score rank. >_>
