I played 20 songs and passed 19. I forgot what the one I failed was called. It had long fast jacks in the beginning.

I use 2. i am not 4 finger style. if i need 3 or sometimes 4 for certain holds i might try to add that in but not often.

It's really strange that a stepfile maker who was refused to the VGMP2 was in SMG2
Strange.......

Yes it's a different style but I think MacGravel and Ossa are the same kind of judges (I speak of Dew)

I think these packs should have heavy and oni for all songs having heavy be indexable and oni be spread and 4 finger. what can one handers play? do they do spread songs?

Exactly. Most of the songs in SMG2 I wouldn't go back and play again its because I don't like the song. Also, if you can't play spread, learn. I used to think it was dumb too, but when I tried I started to like those files. Playing spread files 3-finger can be more fun than playing them 4-finger btw, so give that a try.

although lunatic eyes WAS rejected from ODIpack (more like ignored actually), I'm pretty sure that's because they didn't know who the **** I was and didn't bother to play it, because GLoVE's review of the same sim for SMG2 said it was pretty much perfect. |

Also, played a lot more of the pack and liked most of it. More on that later. |

Almost all of you are retarded. Stop crying and get better, simple. Most of the comments Ive read were complete trash. There are Plenty of files (or files with charts) that are either indexable or easy as hell. And besides, this isnt an index pack and you knew that before you downloaded. So if you were expecting a pack full of easy ass inconsistent files then go download some DDR. If your bad at this game, then dont play the pack. Dont sit here and complain because the simfile making community is becoming more correct with their stepping techniques, like actually layering files carefully, and being creative with sounds. K.
And who the hell wants to play files that are no challenge whatsoever, we got passed that stage 2 years ago. p.s. dragonhead, stop complaining, just because ur sims were freakin retarded as hell and got rejected. Enough. Last edited by Kn33groW; 07-25-2007 at 12:59 AM.. |

wow another spread vs index debate...how about you all lose go play solo ^^
if this pack is too much for your little index fingers to handle, then perhaps it isn't for you. instead of complaning how hard it is to quadmash arrows with two fingers, just dont play them |

Everybody got wrecked like **** lol
Anyways, for those of you whom actually enjoyed the pack (which from what I can see are a LOT more than those bitching at it), you guys are awesome haha. Seriously this pack brings a whole NEW challenge, each file in this pack except Listen To your Hearth and HANAFUBUKI or whatever is challenging it it's own way. I can't honestly stop playing this pack, and I've been playing it for a WHILE now. This pack is, for a lack of a better word, perfect. May that bring some criticism? Yes. People will NEVER be happy about ANYTHING in life? Yes. But, in my opinion and technically speaking, this pack is as good as it can get regarding technicality. Also, people speak of "Fun Factor" as if it were something unanimous. Well, fun factor depends on each and every single StepMania player. Fun factor is something that simply cannot be massively achieved. Each person has his/her own perspective on what "Fun Factor" is. I enjoy playing absolutely EVERY SINGLE FILE in this pack, thus making it my favorite of all time. But that's just ME. So it's really up to each one to judge the fun factor and enjoy the pack in his/her own way, and if you just didn't like it OR if you can't even pass ****ing Listen To Your Hearth, you can just omit this to your pack list and start worrying about getting better because you suck. This is FFR. A nice majority of people use index to play here because of FFR's flash game. Its expected to get whine comments here. Remember people, there ARE options within stepmania to turn off something you don't like (I.E. Hands and Holds). Dont expect step artists to cater to every need of yours. |

LMFAO @ Ossa's post. Yeah, I can't pass Listen To Your Heart, but I still thought the pack was really good.
