I drink two or three cans of pop a week at the most unless I have access to a 12 pack or 24 pack of it.
As for coffee, I drink a nice big cup of espresso whenever I get a gift card for starbucks and get the chance to go. I exercise regularly and don't eat a ton of bad things so I don't think that there's any problem with eating things that are bad for you as long as they're eaten in moderation. PS: I know about the growth hormones in meat. I love meat and I'm 4-6'' taller than the rest of my family. |

Your retorts if one can call them that, do not stand water. Unless you are saying that eating 11 teaspoons of sugar in one sitting, that is one can of soda btw; is a smart choice. Oh, "fags" are people too ;p |

I've cut soda out of my diet, though, because I realized (SHOCK, AWE!) that having too much sugar will result in me not losing any weight. Why did you make this thread? Soft drinks are not poison. I mean, if you consider soft drinks to be poison, then you should really consider the air outside poison. The air that runs through your conditioner, too. Everything you do on this earth is just leading up to the moment you die... So I guess living is kind of just a poison, too, because it will result in your death. Your deterioration.

There is one thing, called natural environment and you body able to adapt and protect yourself and there is the other, were your body is unable to adequately protect yourself, which you can also avoid. I do not understand why you are protecting something that is so harmful provides no value whatsoever, except only negatives and not call it poison. Why did I make this thread? I already stated it earlier. |

Rofl. I have never had a side effect at all to ANY BRAND OF SOFT DRINKS! I've been drinking it since I was 7. Now I am 15 and I still have no problems. If the cancer and tumors were true, then It would have developed over time. I just got checked by a physician and a pa AND a doctor! I've been through scans and there has been no development.
I also don't have Diabetes. AND I don't have a calcium problem. Even if it did cause calcium loss, that shows that you don't drink enough milk. Sorry vegetarians and Vegans , but you SUCK! I think we all know that soda cause de-hydration. Thats why you drink water. F'n idiots that don't even drink it buy consume large amounts of soda.. Sigh..

Even though most of that is true.... I don't care. I loooovvve soda. Soda is like the beer for anyone under 21. Well beer can be the beer for anyone under 21, but then their mom finds out and she beats the spaghetti out of their faces. And then someone calls IRS and then the mom gets thrown into the stinky jail-jail.
Then the kid just starts drinking beer again. But thats off topic. I LUURRVVEE sodeh. |

If you drink soda, you'll get cancer! If you drink soda, you'll get diabetes! It's a gaurentee. A slam dunk. Boom goes the dynamite. Stop drinking soda, and there's no chance you'll get cancer. Or diabetes. Or ever burp. Or ever risk getting hit by a car. I ask you, what's life without its pleasures other than an extension of ones misery?

Recently I only drink soda when we have guests or on special occations, but I found that an interesting read. What I found most interesting was the fact that drinking soda makes you hungry. I used to drink soda quite often (about 5 cans a week) and EVERY time I drink one I HAVE to eat something to go with it. Anyways, a lot of things mentioned I did know before, but I was surprized with the calcium part.
Good read though. |

As I said, if this thread happens to make at least one person reduce or stop the intake. It was worth it. I don't expect all, or most stop and change your ways. It would be too good to be true. ;p

And yeah, millions of people drink soda all the time and are perfectly healthy, including me.
This thread is one gigantic exaggeration.
