True, but they should at 'least' have the decency not to abuse it. Anyone with common sense would know better than to do that.
It's probably annoying for everyone who actually earned over 40k creds and got the token and songs legitimately. Sorry if I sound like I'm bitching, that's not my intention, rofl. It's just a little irksome, is all.

eh, why bother trying to enforce some arbitrary rule that you're not allowed to play k8107 or whatever? just let whoever gets it get it while they can and cut your losses.

Well, if a rollback is done, they should lose the token, as well as any songs bought in the shop. Only problem is that if people actually earned a token, they would lose it.

How are you going to take into account what amount of tokens we originally had? If you resolve the issue, will we get the same number of tokens we originally had, or will we -shudder- have to start from scratch? Not sure if you'd know the answer, but please tell if you do.

Wait... what if someone played Excite Bike over and over and over and got a grand total of 1 bil with 0 credits? Unrealistic, I know, but it happens on a small scale...

I wonder if everything will be reset to the amounts that we're 'supposed' to have like the time the credit glitch was fixed.

we have a credit count backup from a few days ago. i believe we'll be using that to re-set everyone's credit counts.

the re-set to 0 is to prevent any more unearned access to secret/purchased songs.
and then we're checking what caused this, and will re-set things back. might lose a few thousand, tops... a small price to pay, alas.

What this rollback does is restore the database to a certain time. So lets say they decide to rollback the database to its activity 2 minutes before this glitch happened. Then all of your games, challenges, tokens, everything would reset to what it was 2 minutes before this glitch happened. Since half of the community probably purchased all of the songs they missed, I am pretty sure a rollback is going to be the choice to not only give back missing/gained credits, but to ensure that users who started yesterday don't have all of the songs by just a glitch. I guess it isn't as much as resetting the entire database, good call!
