Yet another one.

For Metal, I like more alternative metal, in other words, not unintelligable screaming to bad backround noise (i.e., music). I mean real stuff. Dream Theater, Oleander, Rush, you get it. I also listen to some more mainstream stuff- used to be really big on Metallica, Saliva, etc. I still listen to them, just not as much.

I also like electronica- more specifically, DnB is my favorite, but I also like some Trance/Rave. What's on my playlist now is some L.E.D., TaQ, TAKAq, Spook Goblin, Massive Attack...then some other stuff as well, like Naoki and Digital Explosion.

Edit: Like I forgot the greatest of all trance/rave artists, our very own SGX!

good god, i hate punk rock with a passion! they all sound the same to me, because they have that purposely-inputted "accent" in the singer's voice, as if to say "i can sing when i sound weird! here, i'll prove it!"

emo, also. not that they sound weird, or anything about the bands in particular, but the fans. the fans, i hate almost as much as punk rock. overly-dramatic, clingy, wannabe-suicidal bunches of people. i should know - i've dated an emo girl, who had emo friends... never again, man. never again.

but i DO like metal. slipknot is okay. mudvayne is pretty good. TooL and A Perfect Circle kick both their asses.

i also listen to counting crows alot. i'm not sure what catagory they go under.

i'm obsessed with three "tatu" songs (how soon is now / not gonna get us / show me love)

and i listen to the occasional anime j-pop.

and no, i type like i talk. lol, rofl, lmao, are all expressive actions, saying that there's a lighthearted or joking/humorous tone to the subject matter being said. short - if it was real life, and i was talkin, i would laugh at every place there's an expressive action such as those.

you dont need to know it, no, but we dont NEED to see your "quote" at the end of every post you make, and we dont NEED to see your chrono trigger thing staring down at your words everytime you post. it's an expression of you, however vague it may be, therefore it's an expressive action as well.


and i knew SOMEONE would say something like "calm down". they always do. i'll tell you the same thing i've told everyone else - if there's something to say, and i have the ability to say it, it'll be said, regardless of how many other things i've said. if it helps you sleep at night, divide me into three different people. that way i'm not one person saying alot of things, i'm three people who dont talk all that much.

anywho, i dont really listen to much music. i just like anything with bass. mmmmm, bass. i like rap, not for the lyrics (tho some are funny) but for the beats, and all that dance music with nothing but cool sounding stuff. one thing i hate is any song where singer's voice > music. i like it much better when the voice blends with the music, which is one good thing about rap. constant steady rapping with the beats, not being loud or overpowering, just flowing out. idunno, my musical taste is weird, because hate some songs in a certain genre, but then i love others in that same genre. yeah, idunno

if i dont post then it's impossible to "prove myself", because nobody will know me. i'd rather you wish you didnt know me than not know me at all. what would i have to prove myself as? an asshole? bean does that perfectly, and he's not a n00b, and nobody likes him anyway. not from what i've seen, at least. there might be people who just dont post as much, and they're big fans of bean.

oh, and something about music i picked up from my most recent girlfriend: i like playing it loud, but i try and keep it quiet. she has really good hearing, so everything is quiet for everybody else but she can hear fine. thus, i decided to try and preserve my ears. the rest of my family blasts their music, and their hearing is so much worse than mine. yeah...loud music is good, but bad for u.

Yeah they all sound mostly the same with their " rebellious"[sic] music. Then when you see a picture of them their all pretty boys, but back to the topic I like almost any kind of rock, and I also like music with some political edge to it.

Basically everything under the sun, at some point.

I prefer Kicking back to some Blink, Green Day, Weezer, Nirvana, Offspring, or Pearl Jam over anything else. But i like other stuff. Rap was good before 2003, Lot's of oldies, 80's, some Country, Some classical, and almost anything else.

I'll basically give anything a chance, but when it comes down to some real partying, and good times, i like to stick with what i grew up with.

And power metal, symphonic metal and a bit of heavy metal, neo-classical metal, etc. (my favorite bands are probably Helloween, Hammerfall and Blind Guardian, Kamelot)

Also, someone said they like all kinds of rock. I just can't believe that. Rock is just an incredibly huge genre. Maybe you mean rock and roll? If that's the case, I take back what I said, because different people mean different things with different words. Some call it one thing, I call it another, you call it another. So I may be sorry.


Plus, someone said they like metal like Slipknot and others. Well, I'm sorry, but I just can't consider that to be metal. You know, I have no problem if you like it, if you listen to it. Go hog wild. But the fact is, nu-metal isn't metal. Similar to the fact that rock isn't really metal It's just different, that's all. It doesn't fit into the regular metal categories, nor does it contain the right things to make it metal. It's just like the punk thing, you know?
Everyone who says they like punk has their own version of what is punk and what is not. What's true, and what is not. Well, it's similar with metal, although I think most other metal fans only believe against nu-metal.

Mostly I listen to IDM, Indie, Ska, and Punk (ex. Propaghandi and Beatsteaks).

But I listen to a lot of other whatnot: Underground Hip-Hop, J-Rock, Trip-Hop, etc. I dont discriminate.
