Default Now THAT'S some number crunching...

http://www.caus.org/codezone/cz070700.shtml

I came across this recently, and decided to read it. It's some pretty weird evidence, all just speculation mind you, but still, its worth some discussion i think.

thoughts?

This to me is not real mathematical genius or anything really. Math and physics should not be related to a single language as the universe does not function upon any language. I could play around with those numbers and conclude that a certain fruit was behind his secret. Hell I could play around with adding up alphanumeric values and get 20 conspiracies as to who killed JFK. Two kids in their basement with nothing to do except watch porn and play around with words wrote this and it shouldn't be taken seriously in the least bit.

Agreed. Trying to make a conspiracy when there is none.

But that's still pretty impressive that they did all this work- have you ever TRIED to match up numbers to words? I know you can, given time, but it takes a LOT of time- just try it one day. I have- it took like an hour to get one word to match up to anything.

So now I'm on Twitter @NoahWright.
And I write the blog for their website.

Plus I do cool programming in-house that you'll never see. =O

Agreed, Jam. Actually to be more precise, (sqrt(5) + 1)/2.

Is not. What is is is the answer to the great question about life, the universe and everything.

So there.

Anyways, there was especially one passage that convinced me that these guys really don't have a clue, alternatively, they are convinced that no one else has a clue. It's this:

I might just as easily say that 9 is encoded in the decimal system, since 9+0=9, 8+1=9 etc. There's nothing even remotely mystical about it, it's just common sense that if you have a series of values, separated by identical intervals, then if you take values Sn and m, their sum Sn+Sm would automatically be equal to any combination Sn+x+m-x. That's just the way that kind of series work.

(I'm sorry for the inadequate mathematical language, but hey, I'm swedish after all)

of course it does, it applies to any series of values which are spaced evenly. if x is the least in the series and y is the greatest, x+y= the second and second to last=the third and third to last, and so on.

How can a number be the key to the universe? That's all I have to say.
