Default Is this normal?

I'm cool with syncing up songs well. Big fan of it. And I'm sure for a lot of people these songs are synced to perfection. However...

This is using Firefox 0.8. Would the browser cause the arrows to go off-sync or what's wrong?

No...that song is off sync...it's not your browser. But then again you did rank 1227 before...so I don't know. But that song is definitely off for me. I had to almost ignore the music to FC it.

I ranked higher before because I ignored the music (I used to whore this on my feet on SM) and went with the steadiest bpm I could manage in my head. Didn't occur to me to turn the speakers off, which is what I might have to do.

Like this.

Yeah, well, that'll happen. It's just the gap that's the problem...but there are a lot of songs out there that are on sync too. For example...the best simfile on FFR is probably Burnout in the secrets section.

I hit arrows with music on 4F73R and got around 450 perfs, 380 goods, 50 aves on it.
That score is like you were hitting goods and aves on purpose I guess.

As Hans says, this song is really offsync on FFR because of wrong GAP anyways.

In a way I was hitting goods on purpose, I was hitting them where they were supposed to be. You know, for fun.

Man, what am I missing? I don't think After Me is not that off-sync... :pens new window and plays it:: Okay, I will attest that a few parts are obviously off, but the majority of the song is on beat with the arrows, and not nearly bad enough for a decent player to get eighty-three perfects and three hundred twenty-four averages.

I'm not even going to TRY to argue with jimerax, but this is just my observation...

I don't think 4F73R M3 is that bad. There are a lot worse.

I also agree with GuidoHunter.

A good player should do better than that because the song is really not sync'd that badly.

I could do better. I could easily have done better. But I chose to ignore the gap error and hit them precisely where they should be to make a point. I realize the FFR staff probably have bigger fish to fry but I'm sure I'm not the only person that finds this aggravating. And I'm sure I'm not the only person that would fix up the gaps for people if presented the opportunity. But LD has no reason to trust me, I'm new here and I've turned down similar offers to help before for that same reason.

Just blathering, 4F73R M3 is a great song and I'd play it a lot more if it was synced properly.

I have a thing for adjusting to off sync songs, so I have no problem at all. Ya'll can just whine bout it all you want, but it won't change the fact that it's off sync.
