He happened to draw the line right up against his specifications, meaning that you need to follow them exactly. If he makes an exception for you, he has to for everyone.

Also, by simply attaching the files uncompressed, it means that he needs to go make a new folder, name it appropriately (Meaning he has to go into your files, find out the song name and your username), and then save each individual file in there. Considering the large filebase he has to work with, it gets tedious.

This is the way things are. While it may take 30 more seconds of effort on your part, just please accept it.
forgot to mention the files are in correct format.......he just wanted them in one e-mail lol.

edit: oh yeah i always forget.......can you please tell me what the freakin offset on ffr is? because then you really cant say any file is offsync, is it like the itg offset? 0.02? i really think you should make a sticky or something explaining this, this would make a lot more files on sync and playable on ffr

Although Funtwo's cover of Canon rock is very good, it is by far the most popular but IMO not the best. Funtwo has gotten enough publicity. If you search for Canon rock by Nick B, you may not be impressed by the video, but he released a song file that has far superior quality. I'd like to see this stepped as opposed to the Funtwo one if permission is gotten from JerryC and the cover artist.

There might be a set amount that the FFR offset differs from the file's offset (I think -.30 or something usually does it) but it varies per song, it'd be impossible for there to be a set offset that works with each file

That and it'd make testing much more difficult.

Sync your songs such that they are perfectly (Or close enough) on sync in Stepmania. Tass (Or whoever puts in the song) takes care of adjusting it for FFR.

newblue: i could care less how many emails you send me.... i said i wanted them in one FOLDER. your stupid ass files are in some nonsense crapfiles.zip (or.rar) that contains:
/newbluefiles/crapfile1 (newblue22)/crapfile.mp3
/newbluefiles/crapfile1 (newblue22)/crapfile.dwi
/newbluefiles/crapfile2 (newblue22)/crapfile2.mp3
/newbluefiles/crapfile2 (newblue22)/crapfile2.dwi
etc etc etc.

as i make so unbelievably clear in every single post i make in regards to this.... and i think i even posted a ****ing picture about it in one of these threads.... i want it in THIS format:

when opening crapfiles.zip (or .rar), i should see:
crapfile1 (newblue22)/crapfile.mp3
crapfile1 (newblue22)/crapfile.dwi
crapfile2 (newblue22)/crapfile2.mp3
crapfile2 (newblue22)/crapfile2.dwi

that way... i don't have to go and waste MY time cutting your dumb ass files from inside the folder, pasting them back outside in the folder i want them in, then deleting your folder again. takes me MUCH longer than adding someone's username into the end of the folder name when they don't add it (which still pisses me the hell off, by the way, and happens WAY too often).

so... it isn't so much that i couldn't take the time to fix it myself. it's that if i don't bitch you out about it now, you'll KEEP DOING IT... thereby pissing me off every single time, and wasting my time every time. now, you've wasted my time writing this up... BUT... you'll get the message and submit the files correctly this time and in all future times. and hopefully other people will too because of it.

DAMN!

ps - writing up the batch.

Mute City by SulferDragon and BDN
Negative Y by xSerpentinex
Radius ~hacker no yabou~ by bmah

Tambourin Chinois by jimerax
The Prototype by Neonatrias
The Ushering In Of The Magical Era by jimerax
vijore by SulferDragon
Wish by Starfalcon176
Total: 19 out of 37

Files Tass Played but didn't queue
Air Breeve by V4N - see shash's comments... fix the 2 or 3 triplets near beginning w/ jumps
Brooks Was Here by dore - see jx's comments
Chlorophyll by BDN - see jx's comments
CIA Rave v3 - Tass is pretty f-ing against v3's, for one. also, see jx's comments.
Dot Matrix Hero by ElectricWerewolf - played Heavy, agree w/ jx
Dragon's Final Road by SulferDragon - see shash's comments
Dragons Bane by hi19hi19 - agree w/ shash. remove early 16th jumps, weaken the ending
Hyper Hyper by bob bob - see jx's comments
Metropolis by brothaice & Hammy - see jx's comments
Ongyilkos Vasarnap by BDN - beginning's boring, cut the song. see jx's comments
Over the Frail Dream by SulferDragon - what jx said
Purple by dore - i just don't think ffr can handle 230bpm stream. in that tiny ass file there are 7 3-framers and 46 4-framers.
Sing a Song by Kalazor - what jx said, specifically the jumps that form 8th jacks with the non jump after the jump
Sound of my Dream by Ben Speirs - what jx said
Together as One by Cyanite - what jx said
v1 v2 by hi19hi19 - we don't need a v2 for v1. especially an easier version.
{Big Boss} by jugglinguy - agree w/ shash and jx.

SHASH
25. Together as one - (Halved BPM, 24ths that go to nothing at all)
A Beautiful Wings ? (Various notes are offbeat, too many to list, most of them are yellow that come after a pause and should be blue, streams are awkward)
Abbadon ? (Stream patterns are meh, jumpstream is overstepped)
Air Breeze +? (Yellow note at m37 isn't onbeat, random stream crossover at 57)
Alive - (Jacks, there are no constant 16th rhythms in this song and almost every 16th rhythm is wrong)
Arashi ? (16th at 29 isn't right, onehanded trills are not necessary, most of the gallop parts feel awkward, lots of awkward patterns all over)
Aztec Templing V2 - (So overstepped, plus long 200 BPM 32nd rolls = dear god no)
BB Euro Z - (Sync or BPM is utterly wrong, quit out)
Back in the Day +
BB Euro C +? (32nds aren't necessary, pretty good otherwise)
Blue Army C < (Quit out, Rebirth's is better)
Blue Army I ! (No cuts accepted for this song)
Border of Maximum ? (Rhythms are good but JUMP USE OH GOD, start by taking all the midstream ones out and we'll go from there)
Brooks Was Here + (Unless this is a cut in which case holy crap make it longer)
Chlorophyll + (Though I would prefer a cut)
CIA Rave V3 + (Normally I wouldn't but I like this file)
Clockwork Genesis ? (Rhythms at m25 are off for a while, jacks jacks jacks)
Cloud Control +? (Fix up the 16th patterns, also a few rhythms don't go to anything like the 16ths in m83 and all the patterns of 4 16ths near the end)
Contain ? (Overstepped, not in a technical sense but it's just not fun to play)
Crystalis V2 +
Delta Beat ? (Jump use around m29 is an example of what not to do throughout, and stream patterns are weird, wtf random onehand trill for no reason)
Desparation +? (Step the 16ths around the 8ths at m50-60, it feels pretty awkward when you ignore those)
Diamond Heart +
Distorted Reality +? (Inconsistent rhythms (when the song doesn't really change your rhythms shouldn't change, or at least not as drastically), A cut would probably be a bit better though that's not 100% necessary)
Dot Matrix Hero +
Dragon's Final Roar (24ths thing at m33 and the end is too hard for the rest of the song and unnecessary)
Dragon's Bane +? (You stopped doing the yellow jump thing after m17 for no reason that I can see, end is over the top)
Duct Tape My Heart - (Quit at jacks. Steps don't fit with music very well, blue should be emphasized more than red, gallop patterns should be 3 16ths and not 2)
Dust Bowl - (Sync or something is off, lots of notes/rhythms make no sense, stream patterns are awful, some parts are horrendously overstepped)
Dying Flame - (The sync is the only thing about this that isn't bad, rhythms and patterns are just awful and don't go to the music at all)
Elevated (16th patterns are too staircase-ish and subpar, jacks)
Emotion's Run +? (Fix stream patterns)
ESC - (Quit out, freeze)
Fabricate - (Completely offbeat)
Felys +
Fierce Combat S +? (More pitch relevancy please)
Fierce Combat A +? (Don't have jumps that are to the flute-like thing, it's inconsistent)
Flying Through Pixel Land +? (Around m13 on, stepping to the main melody would be better than doing it to the background rhythm)
Four Vents +
Frozen Fire +? (Inconsistent jump use in the gallopy parts)
fuff *numbers* ! (Multiple difficulties, wtf is this)
Geno's Woods - (24ths lol quit out)
Green Greens - (Completely offsync or wrong BPM, quit out)
Hardcore Symphony ? (Shouldn't skip the 16ths in places like m40, various notes missed throughout for no apparent reason...rhythms in general don't go with music, especially nearer the end)
Hero's Theme +? (12th jack section is a little over the top)
Honey Cookie +? (Too many staircases, more variety please)
Hyper Hyper + (What's with the BG changes? Suspecting this is a stolen file, why would someone put so many BG changes on an FFR submission?)
Hyperdestructive - (Quit out, sync is really off and 4ths are blue I think, although I can't really tell)
I'll Be Right Here Waiting for You +? (Beginning has blue 4ths, good easy file otherwise)
Innocent Decay +? (Missing notes at beginning and end)
J219 V2 - (Quit out at jacks, do better than this for a V2 please)
Jingle Bells ? (Wtf is with the 24ths and stuff, just make it 8ths...it's offbeat as is)
Join the Power ? (Some rhythms aren't onbeat, talking at the beginning is too long to not step at all)
Learn 2 Play +
Legendary Etude ? (Pretty badly overstepped, stream around 50 or so goes to nothing)
Life Light +? (Some unnecessary stream crossovers, there should be jumps to the melody or something in the 8ths towards the end)
Magical Hacker ? (16th patterns throughout, jacks at the end)
Metropolis +
Metropolis Zone ? (Stream patterns, jacks)
Monstrous Monstro ! (Permission? This is an original battle theme from Kingdom Hearts and I HIGHLY doubt we have permission for that)
MOONEARTH - (Freeze)
Mute City +
Nanatsuropanda +? (Parts with a ton of the 24th accent things in a row should be changed, they're not very audible and not very fun)
Necropolis +? (Some kind of BPM or sync problem)
Negative Y +
"NG84512" - (wtf is this)
Ongyilkos Vasarnap + (a cut would be better though)
Over the Frail Dream +
Over the Ocean +? (Some stream patterns, tone down the huge 32nd roll)
Pirates of the Carribean Mix - (Quit out at the blue 24ths stuff, get onbeat please and also don't use competely random patterns that have jacks)
Plunging Hornets ? (Hard parts with 16ths are just too hard for the rest of the song)
Power of Silence (Too long for difficulty, try cutting--m76 would be a good place)
Pump Me Amadeus ! (Permission not verified)
Purple - (Too hard and not fun enough to make up for the 3-framers)
Radius ? (Rhythms in the more repetitive parts are inconsistent and don't go very well with the music)
Ramen +? (Fix sync)
Revolutions ? (Stream patterns, stuff around m44ish is offbeat)
Robot Army +
Rottel-da-STAR +
Running Man ? (Cute, but unfortunately most of the stream doesn't fit the music)
Sam's Song ? (BPM should be half that, 8th patterns stink, rhythms are off sometimes)
Shind Bad +? (Beginning is overstepped, big long stream doesn't fit well, kind of overstepped in general except for the gallopy parts which are fine)
Sing a Song +
Sly +
Smithy Showdown - (Jacks, random doubled BPM, meh rhythms, other things but start with those)
Snow Stream +? (Cut song somewhere, too long and repetitive)
Solace Theme - (Quit out, offbeat/sync/BPM)
Sonic 2 Boss Theme - (Totally random jump use, rhythms seemed meh again, doubled BPM again, jacks again)
Sound of My Dream +
Star ? (Wrong BPM or something)
Sugar Song ! (Permission)
Summer in Belieze ! (Did you get permission for this? We don't have a blanket from DE)
Survive +? (Fast parts with 16ths are overstepped)
Syndrome Craze ? (Lots of rhythms off throughout)
Synful Sub +
Tamborin Chinois +
Tell Me a Story - (offbeat quit out etc etc)
Test Drive +? (Whole part from 31 or so to 38 should go to the thing that isn't just the drum)
Tetris Theme - (We already have a Tetris Remix song, we don't need another one that's long, boring, and repetitive)
The Final Fantasy ? (Jacks)
The Prototype +
The Secluded Stronghold ! (Quit out, I'm not even going to play a file this long except in special circumstances unless it's REALLY good, which this isn't)
The Ushering In of the Magical Era +
The Only Medicine - (Sync/BPM/Purple notes/etc)
Thunderhorse ! (Permission?)
Together as One +
Tribal Revival V2 - (Not really different or unique enough for a V2)
TSUHSUIetc - (Negative BPM and BG changes? This file was almost certainly made for SM, and probably isn't even yours)
Twilight Techno C +? (Stream patterns need more variety)
Twilight Techno E - (Quit out at the jack, sync isn't right either, Cynaite's is way better)
V1 V2 - (Unnecessary, this isn't different enough from SB's)
Vache ? (Not really fun enough for something this hard)
vijore +
Painkillers +? (Lose the whole 16th stream at the end)
Warioland 3 - (offbeat quit out etc etc)
Wish H +? (16ths near the end had one too many for each measure)
Wish S +
{Arabian Assassin} +? (Rhythms at m40 or so don't make sense)
{Barbed Wire} D ? (Awkward 16th patterns, yellow stuff doesn't really feel right or make a lot of sense with the music)
{Barbed Wire} J +? (Most of the 12ths felt off, jacks)
{Big Boss} +? (Around m17-23 could be a lot better rhythm wise...also sync could use fixing)
{Event Horizon} +? (Rhythms from m55-80 or so are really bad, 32nds especially since those are 16ths)
{Factory} ? (Inconsistent rhythms/jump use, stream patterns were both unvaried and awkward)
{I Don't Need You Anymore} ? (My god that ridiculous trill part from m25-49 is unfun and unnecessary, 12th jacks and 3-framers in multiple places, lots of overstepped everything)
{James Bond Breakbeat} <+-!? (Dude, more than 30 percent of the arrows in this file are red...that's way too many...use some variety, dude)
{Lost Memories} +? (48th wtf, jack)
{Memories} ! (You can start by fixing the blue-purple-etc part, didn't even bother playing because of that and length)

Shind Bad [dore] [+?] - stream patterns/double+16th patterns are odd at parts, felt overdone putting all doubles on vocal with no break

Sing a Song [Instrum] (Kalazor) [?] - ending is offsync, pattern of jumps, overdoubled at parts

Star (Yohman) [?] - beginning is offsync (wrong BPM), mis-rhythmed at parts

Sugar Song (MrZombie) [?] - gap early, ending is offsync, rhythms are almost fine

Summer In Belize (Shad0wlord) [+?] - rhythms are almost fine, patterns should be more pitch relevant

Survive (bluguerrilla) [?] - rhythms are good overall, some 32nds should be 24ths, too many 8th jacks, overstepped at parts, stream patterns

Syndrome Craze(blindreper1179) [-] - really offsync, couldn't continue playing

Synful Sub(Valtrix) [+] (8) - felt a bit overdouble'd at parts, but ok

Tell Me a Story [Compendium Mix] (Coolboyrulez0) [-] - offsync, missing notes

Test Drive (Scytlock) [?] - gap early, overdoubled

Tetris Theme (RB_Quackies) [?] - a bit offsync, overdoubled, repetitive for me

The Final Fantasy (Kalazor) [?] - minijacks, overdoubled at parts, rhythms are fine

The Prototype (Neonatrias) [+?] - most of stream patterns are rolls, others are fine

The Secluded Stronghold (Cyanite) [?] - offsync at parts, overall boring, honestly music doesn't suit this game, IMO

The_Only_Medicine (who_cares973) [-] - wrong BPM, offsync

Thunderhorse (constathed) [-] - auto rejection for freezes

Together as One (Cyanite) [+?] - some mini-16th streams in the voice part are weird

Twilight Techno (Cyanite) [+?] - a bit weird rhythms at the middle part (triplets with double going with nothing)

Twilight Techno (l Endorphin l + DrugstoreCowboy) [?] - BPM a bit off, minijacks, stream patterns, inappropriate rhythms/doubles at parts

V1 (hi19hi19) [+] (5)

Vache (xSerpentinex) [?] - ending is overstepped for fading out, weird rhythms around 24th roll part

vijore (SulferDragon) [+] (7)

Painkillers (MixMasterLar) [?] - 8th rhythms/patterns are a bit random, 16th stream patterns(mostly staircases, rolls, and some awkward patterns)

Warioland 3 - Overworld (Coolboyrulez0) [-] - offsync, wrong BPM

Wish (Reprise) (HammyMcSquirrel) [+?] - stream patterns, double placement at parts

Bitter Sweet Symphony (rel89) [?] - stream patterns, a bit overdouble'd

{Factory} (d4u7211) [?] - stream patterns, overdouble'd

{I Don't Need You Anymore} [dore] [?] - potential 3-framer on 12th d-jacks, some 24th mini-bursts should be 32nds or 16ths, too many trilly patterns at the first half

{Lost Memories} (Maikelru) [+?] - minijack, patterns should be more pitch relevant, double placement is fine

{Mercury} (Maikelru) [?] - way too 8th jacky, 12th jacks, overdouble'd, 12th zone is overall weird

Oh, whew. Mine didn't make this batch. I kept looking for my file and getting worried. Hopefully this next batch will be done fast. Hell, if you could do my songs now (I know won't happen; just daydreaming, really) that'd be great!

Metropolis (brothaice & HammyMcSquirrel) [+?] - felt a bit overdouble'd, stream patterns

Ok I can fix the stream, but jumps are going to be hard to take out.

i wasn't being lazy in my judgments either.... pretty much every dumb file shash +d that shouldn't have been... my reasons for thinking it shouldn't be +d were exactly the same as jx's. when they weren't, or varied in detail, i mentioned it.

yeah i thought that 32nd roll wouldn't survive ffr

stream patterns, i'm not exactly sure 'what' stream patterns are bad but i'll take a looksie, i'm guessing you want more index-friendly stream patterns

will take a look at the blue notes on 4ths

this was more or less a conversion of malice's original chart so i'll have to get creative lol
