1 Hand Vs. 2 Hands... the epic battle..

Alright.. i am a die-hard 1 hand FFR player... i've been playing for around 6 months now, and am in the top 30 overall... i have lots of competition w/ my friends... and the only person who can come close is a guy that uses 2 cheating hands... i've tried it 2 hands, and the games is just way to freakin easy... it takes out all of the fun.. and takes less coordination.. i just wanna hear what other ppl have to think about it... thanks

no, it's not cheating. and if u were really that good u'd have a high score on a song. and if u cant do it 1 handed, try 2 handed and see if u can get a high score on ANYTHING. high rank =/= good at FFR

Haha. 2 hands isn't cheating. Its just another way of playing.

But yea, 1 handed is alot harder. But don't whine about it. Boost your 1 handed skill to the max, and you'd be surprised how far you can go.

As nice as it is to get some high scores, i play the game for the fun of it... i really love just flowing to a song.. to zone out and go crazy on the keyboard... but w/ the 2 hands it doesn't feel like you're playing to song, you just doing what ya gotta do to hit the arrows... it doesn't have any soul!!! lol just my opinion... but lets keep it comin, i need some support for the one handers!

I feel the only way to play is with two hands, one hand is just to hard. I've tried to play with only one hand before and I couldn't even do it. So for me, its alwayz going to be two hands.

it all depends on how you start, to me it was just instinct to use 2 hands, i've been doing it ever since.

I play the way it's meant to be played, 1 handed, 3 fingers. You just can't beat it. Anyways I think two handed gives you to much of a speed advantage.

i feel more like i'm "doing what i gotta do" when i play 1-handed than when i play with 2. i can play 1-handed to scratch my head during a song, or if i'm bored on an easy song, but 2-handed is just more comfortable for me, especially since i was used to DDR on controller with 2 hands.

i started out with one hand b/c i never thought about using both of them
it was really hard
but then i was reading the forum and found out about the 2 hand technique
it made the game a lot more funner and i dont think it can be called cheating

So you're saying, FFR/SM/DWI were never intended to be played with more than one hand? Excuser-moi but last time I checked, some of the worlds best players play with two hands (IE Arch, Jello, Nima). Take DDR as an example, some people freestyle, meaning they hit the arrows with their hands, knees, hell sometimes even their heads, do you call THAT cheating? I think not.

BTW, this is coming from someone who plays both one handed and with indexes, so save the 'OMG LIEK YOU PROBABLY ONLY PLAY WITH TWO HANDS YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND'.

Seriously though, it doesn't matter what style you play. I'm a one hander and I'm pretty decent at it (although not as good as some [reach, moogy, kilga, etc.]) but I'd probably be a bit further if I were two handed. I enjoy one-handedness the most though.

It's not cheating if you play 2 handed... you may not think it's fun, but other people do.
