Hey Tass, I know you're capping submissions per week on people, but what about collab files? I know it's a rare scenario, but it could happen xP Does it count for both?

Maybe they should get an extra collab song or two to encourage more stepfile testing and such.

ehh. we'll deal with it when the situation arises. from what i've seen so far though... MOST of the collabs have at least 1 respected simfile artist, if not 2.

i'm still waiting for someone to do an awesome file for The Sewers. awesome song... and Goldeneye is one of my favorite games of all time. we've gotten a few submissions on it... they've just all sucked.

I actually listened to it just now... I like it, and may step. Lots of projects backing up though

i'd much rather have people working on these new rock permissions than sharpnel, cnb, etc etc. 1. rock is our most popular genre, in terms of plays / # of songs... 2. these new permissions have 0 songs in game currently, vs like 10 from some other artists. 3. they're signed to labels, and have fairly decent fan bases on myspace, and would be willing to promote us back for promoting them.

would like to see a Bouncing Souls song stepped, seeing as how i got their permissions. jx will be working on another band i got the rights for.

Don't worry Tass, I'm working on some rock songs, and they should turn out pretty well =P I did Roses and Butterfiles yesterday, and will be doing another when I get the MP3s from Drugstore.

Realize that stepping these songs (if properly synced) takes ages because of all the BPM changes. Couple that with the fact that most of these songs are 3+ minutes and that leads to longass stepping time.

Dore explained it pretty much very well.

Those songs just usually take too much time to step- Only a very few select number of people I've noticed have the patience to step them regularly (Glove rings a bell), and step them so that they are really fun and tolerable to play simfiles.

Yeah, so I heard Ben. I loved the song too much to not step it though =P I was rather pleased with my file, but yours is probably better. What batch did you send it in for?

Yeah, Rock songs take so long to step.
