Re: Guitar Zero (noob)
Ok. Guitar Hero is AWESOME
Easy to very hard songs, and 4 difficulty settings for each song, and a tutorial, so yeah, it's easy, but then it gets extremely hard (like max 300 AAA hard) on expert the average song is over about 2-6 mins, unless you count Freebird which is 11 mins I would rate it 11/10, best music game of this year AND last year (sorry DDR, ITG, PIU, Beatmania, Stepmania, Guitar Freaks, Dance Factory, Pop n' Music, and Parappa)

Re: Guitar Zero (noob)
Let's just say if you played any other music games (DDR, ITG, IIDX, etc.) then I would start in medium. All of the songs in the game are all full versions. Shortest song is Trogdor, which is a joke. It's really addicting that is REALLY hard to break. It makes it feel like you are actually playing the guitar (that is when you get to hard and expert) which gets really hard. The only hard part is that to remember to strum, because sometimes you are too concentrated on the frets and completely forget to strum, but it will get easier though.
Overall, it's an awesome game and it's a must-have.

Re: Guitar Zero (noob)
Guitar Hero is fun, actually.
It's not that easy for me, but maybe it's because I have such small hands. XDD I like it, though. Last edited by x__betch; 06-11-2007 at 01:05 AM.. Reason: Typo. |

Re: Guitar Zero (noob)
Put it this way: What reasons would you have to not buy Guitar Hero? To those critics of Guitar Hero, Guitar Hero doesn't really show you how to play a guitar and I mean would Red Octane put in like 5 strings and expect you to play a completely realistic guitar? That's why we have real guitars. On the Playstation 2, I hear that if it's modded to be able to burn DVDs (I think), you could make your own songs by hacking, but I have it on my 360 so I'm not sure about this.

Re: Guitar Zero (noob)
Yeah, with sufficient modding you can add your own songs to GH2. Something I'm doing once I can afford a second PS2.

Re: Guitar Zero (noob)
Guitar Hero is awesome. I can do Medium on the SG controller and some of Hard on the Dualshock controller.

Re: Guitar Zero (noob)
Freebird is 9 mins. But yeah Guitar Hero rules. I'm ranked 800th on ScoreHero. Could be better but I don't update my scores regularly.
