We Met Dat Night -- First SM file
http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/...p?songid=15716
First time I made a file not exclusively for FFR. Not used to making files this difficult, so I could use some criticism. This also doubles as an example of my most recent work, just to show that the files that are by me in FFR right now don't really reflect on my current talent. |

Not sure I want to download this purely because you've restepped a Vospi file. Care to say how you've improved upon his?

Re: We Met Dat Night -- First SM file
It really isn't improved at all, other than the boring beginning that vospi cut out from his original file.
And the trademark Vospi piano stream at the end that made the file so fun was bastardized.

Re: We Met Dat Night -- First SM file
This was an AMAZING attempt for a first file. There were a few minor sync problems, but most of the patterns themselves were done pretty well. I really liked the way you used jumps and freezes. Just keep working hard at it, especially the syncing. Practice really is the only way to get better at syncing (and even then, some people just aren't good at it).

I've made about 65 simfiles, this isn't my first attempt.. just my first file I didn't make with the intent to get it into FFR. |

Yeah overall this was a waste of time checking out XD Damn curiosity...
When you can safely say that your simfiles compare to works like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kx1dD8Y9ksg or this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Bdr_e2o7Zo THEN let me know so I'll try it out.

Re: We Met Dat Night -- First SM file
Whoa, didn't see that (i'm too lazy to actually read the post, just read the title).
In that case, it was mediocre. A lot of the patterns were good, but the arrow placement wasn't special or fun (very repetitive) and certainly not an improvement (or comparison) to Vospi's original. It also felt offsync, mostly being the syncing, occasionally being the arrow placement (some 16ths instead of 24ths and such). The file wasn't horrible (better than, oh, Dog E's), but they weren't good enough to be in a decent pack. |
