Rename it the RaikouRider Pack. And why would you link it somewhere where we would have to sign up to download it? Maybe put it up on Filefront or something.

I wanted to apologize for signing up for so many sims and then not following through with making them. Felt bad for it.. I finished Carry On My Wayward Son in one sitting, then forgot to save.. didn't feel like working on any of the files after that, and most of the other songs I couldn't get since your MediaMax downloads were exceeded.

Still, looking forward to playing these. It's amazing how many files you made for this..

Well, I actually downloaded it, and I must say, it isn't very good at all, IMO.

1. A billion steps by the same person
2. A lot of the .mp3s have terrible quality (it isn't that hard to find a good one)
3. Steps are bad
4. Graphics are meh
5. We also have to sign up to get it

One good thing about it, noobs will love it.

1) That's what you get when all these people withdraw their submissions and/or you get a lot of bad submissions. D=

2) Most of them are the Guitar Hero covers directly out of the game, that's why they sound so different.

3) How are the steps bad again? Too many double hits?

4) That's what you get when you don't have photoshop and don't know how to use GIMP. xD

5) I'm going to FileFront it in 13 days. The point of making people sign up is to get DDRHQ traffic. >_>

And a reason noobs will love it is it is primarily easier files...easier than most of the stuff making keyboard packs of late. There are a couple hard files in there though *COUGHSIXCOUGH*

I'd respond to all of those, but I don't feel like pointless arguing.

Covers? No song in GH has quality as bad as that. I wasn't talking about how the song isn't the original, I was saying that the .mp3s were of poor quality.

Wherever you downloaded it to on your computer. It's not terribly difficult to understand.

1) Get the word out to more people? Don't rush the pack as much? I was thinking of stepping a song or two from Guitar Hero.

2) Are you saying you used the versions of the song that the sound team made at Harmonix? Like the ones from the actual game that aren't made by the real artists? If you did, that's absolutely moronic.. I don't even know why you would go through the effort of trying to find them. If you didn't do that, find high quality mp3 versions; really not that hard to pirate music these days.

3) Too many double hits? Jumps? No..? For the most part not enough. Most of the sims I played were the most basic patterns and had the simplest ideology to stepping. I realized then that, for the most part, the steps were primarily following the guitar part alone. Doing that can't lead to a good or technical sim other than during solos. Sims could have been made a lot better with good layering of vocals+guitar+drums+misc. instruments/sounds.

4) Get shop and gimp. Once again, it's not hard to pirate things these days. If you refuse to do that, ask people to make graphics? There used to be a whole thread where people such as my self made graphics for people who requested them for specific songs. I'm not going to lie, but I think the worst part about the pack was the god awful graphics. A bad sim honestly can appear better with amazing graphics. Go through a bit more effort as pack managers to recruit some people next time to make graphics?

5) Lol. I don't mind that it's only hosted on the site. It takes 2 minutes to sign up, [sure 2 minutes we could be DLing], but the DL rate is pretty good and I would do the same if I had my own website I was trying to get traffic through. =]

Well, considering most the sims in the pack are unreleased he may update the pack sometime in the future. Submissions will be open again.

Pirating is against the law, and some people like to follow the rules.

Yeah, I kind of have to agree. One of the songs I was going to step was Smoke on the Water, and had I done it, I would have focused more on the drums. I really wish you would have done that Raikou Rider, because that sim is mighty boring... Might you reopen the pack anytime I'm doing a V2.

But again, this pack is more made to cater to lesser SM players. Though, there is some hard stuff (I still can't AA Jordon Oni, grrrr).

Again with the pirating, eh? Good grief, though I do have the pirated version of CS2 (so I honestly have no room to talk), not everyone agrees with pirating media. Though, GIMP is still an open option. I think he just doesn't want to learn to use it though.

Also, do you think people are willing to make graphics for 40+ simfiles. Especially for a pack that isn't run by an elite.

But anyway, yeah, the graphics are my main complaint too. The least we could have are nice cdtitles.

You went ahead and made a stepmania illegal simfile out of an illegally ripped file from a copy righted game, without Harmonix's nor Activistion's permission, You distribute it online, you encourage the use of the illegal material... HOW IN HELL CAN YOU EVEN BRING WORDS LIKE COPYRIGHT and PIRACY TO THIS THREAD, and to finish off, why would you even say you're not a pirate when you have ****ing StepMania running in your system with probably over 1000 ILLEGAL mp3s, banners and cd titles made with cracked Photoshop suits?

You're just as pirate as all of us, not to mention the **** you get on your iPod, or do you seriously by **** form iTunes? I don't think so, I don't think none of you do. So don't talk about **** that you don't nkow about, because you're pretty much looking for some hardcore wreckage.
