That was an editorial right?... =\
I agree with that article but I bet it pissed off a lot of black people.

Which is the whole point the article was making, Altairian. Unless black people are willing to change their stereotype, as in not indulging in whatever is considered to be "black" simply for the sake of being "black", then this is going to continue.
I always like Bill Cosby, as both a comic and a social commentator.

It's easy to keep power by assigning a human face to more complicated problems. As long as you have people convinced that someone else is responsible for their plight, they will keep respecting you and stop trying to do anything about their own problems. They count on you to fight their so-called demons for them.
Note groups like the NAACP keeping blacks everywhere convinced that the white establishment is at the core of their problems. |

Black societys and comedians blaming white people for problems are just the same as women organizations blaming men for problems. You gotta admit that the white man is basically the scapegoat for almost everything in this society.
However, Chris Rock brought up alot of issues in one of his shows, which was like Cosby's. He wasn't as suttle about it though. If you've seen it, it's the one where he says "THEY SPINNIN' ***** THEY SPINNIN'" about 10-15 times in the show. |

damn right, Bill, damn right.
Chris Rock also knows alot of the small truths about women. everything i hear outta him i'm like "oh man, that's so true!" like how we need the tossed-salad man at schools to make kids behave better. i sure would behave even better if i knew stepping outta line meant tossing some prison man's salad. anywho, i used to think Cosby was pretty dumb, but now i like him. if he indeed says more stuff like this, then he's a good guy. before, when i thought of Cosby i thought of this: http://cosbymon.ytmnd.com/ now, i will think of that article.
