FFR /= Stepmania.

Stepmania is an offline game and has nothing to do with FFR, as such, whatever you do on Stepmania stays on Stepmania and will never be seen near FFR. What he meant by "FFR-like files" is purely that you hit arrows in time with music.

What does 'time change' mean in Resonance. 'cause i see it on alot of songs that i'd like to play and its gets a little annoying when you find that song you REALLY would like to try and you can't 'cause it says 'time change'. some assisstiance por favor =)
Time change means the BPM/speed changes mid song, and Resonance doesn't support BPM changes.

Seriously, you couldn't look up 4 posts or so?

my question is how to add songs to FFR resonance. I made a Stepmania song, and its a desktop item, but i have no idea how to do the rest of the work. looked around on some threads but those are all confusing to me.

That would be why there is a link there. The rest that have anything to do with FFR are shown inside that link.

Voltage and Chaos are used with DDR and stepmania.

MP stands for multiplayer. The more online players you beat in multiplayer, the higher the number increases, increasing in sort of a "level" like fashion.

Lord knows this has probably been asked a gazillion times, but where can you request someone to make a sim file? I've got a bunch of songs I've been searching for ever for and so I've given up and hoping someone can come along and make em for the amusement of all..

K, well I've been playing for a few months now (my accounts over a year old, but I never really played before now), and I'm still using one hand but I can't seem to get much better.

Songs like Flight of the Bumblebee and Exciting Hyper Highspeed Star just go too fast for me to get a decent combo on... anyway, I want to start using two hands but it's so awkward to have one hand at an angle like that.

I saw a youtube video of someone playing stepmania with the letter keys and was wondering if there's an alternative to the arrows like that for FFR?

Oh, and I know it's probably already been reported but...when I click "Try again" on Party4u, it goes really slow and there's no sound for it...is this a bug or intended so newbies can beat it to see the background? It's pretty annoying when you actually want to play it again, lol. You've gotta re-select it from the list =/

HOw do i set up BPM and all that jazz to make steps to a song in SM? I already found the BPM of my wanted song, and i could only find how to add already stepped songs to SM.

You can change the bpm with some of the F keys, I think it's like F7 and F8, but it might be F9 and F10, but it's somewhere around there. You can see a list of controls with F1, and some more neat stuff you can do with escape. Hope that helps.
