Do you like Hardcore, Metal, or generally anything hard enough to eat your kids?

Ok, I'm going to explain to you why Dragonforce sucks:

1.) They're power metal. This genre is saturated with bad guitarists, singers that sound like they just got a pin stuck into their ass, and stories about dragons flying through purple mist during an epic Lord of the Rings battle.

2.) The skill of the musicians in the band is deplorable. I once stumbled upon Herman Li and the other guy's "I Bet You Can't Do This" video on youtube. I watched it. Someone who had been playing guitar for 2 years with discipline could play the stuff they pulled off. Herman did an A minor arpeggio with an extra hammer-on. This could be achieved with a few hours of practice. The other guy did some tapping lick that I could have probably played a year into my guitar playing. Not to mention the crazy ending where he just taps the open sting above the neck pickup. INSANE!

3.) The singer sounds like he just swallowed a handful of razors. The singing style in power metal is horrible. I would rather listen to someone pig squeal over a repeating guitar riff that is nothing more than the two lowest strings played open. It may be the defining characteristic of this "genre", but if you had any musical taste, you'd see the faults in it.
