I think that when the key reset and screencut preference saving go public I'll probably play more. The biggest reason I don't play much is because I'm too lazy to figure out my screencut or use autohotkey (?) to reset my keys, so I use left, down, 8, 6 to play, and that feels really awkward.

I played a bit a couple days ago for the first some since speed mods came out, and I found that just by moving the screencut a little bit I could get anywhere from, I think, 5 or 6 goods non-FC to 80 goods FC on Balloon Fever.

lol, yeah that's ffr. your pa is never consistent. and i play left down 8 6 as well. it's not that bad. yeah, obviously 5 to 6 goods on balloon fever means you're better than me by a long shot.

I also got a clean FC with 7 goods. I can't really figure out screencutting with speed mods. I think I was using 1.75x the other day and cutting off about 1/4 or 1/3 of the screen, but 1 centimeter can make a huge difference. Also, different screencuts seemed to work better on different songs.

Back before speemods, I cut off all but about 2 centimeters below the arrow receptors.

2 centimeters was a bit of an exaggeration. But I do play stepmania C770.
