Wait...does he think he was ninja'd by brothaice? Wasn't he quoting him? Or did he just not read the post up till Brothaice's comment?

And also, yeah you're right, it would be a comma splice. It'd be okay if he said "and noticed this". I missed the "I" for some reason....

Guido is like, the scariest moderator ever. ;-;

I dunno why people obsess so much over grammar. There's a difference between "oops, misplaced a comma" and "i haeyt ur amine cuz goku punhez so hard n wrodl EXPLOED", y'know? One could only hope we never get a stick that far up our butt. =/

Eh no whoops I take it back.
I was right, its can be a comma. It would only have to be a semicolon and would only be a comma splice if he didn't have the "and". The "and" makes it okay.

Check Wikipedia.

IMO grammar is sometimes only important in the forums, not as much in Chat.

Indeed.

I think typing correctly and coherently is a good thing. So, why is it a good thing? Because everytime I see a post on FFR that's maybe a paragraph long, and the grammar/typing skills/spelling are horrible, I start reading it. The first line, meh, then the second.. slowly trails off into the third, fourth, and my mind just sort of malfunctions and I start reading it as "bla bla bla" and so I just say "Okay, whatever" and post something along the lines of "stfu" or "gtfo".

I can't stand it. I SERIOUSLY do start mixing up words and letters and stuff just reading that crap, it gets so annoying. :/ And no one that lazy is going to get far in life, if people can't even read what they're trying to say, or the point they're trying to get across.

I love how the guy who makes an actual solid, interesting point is banned. Yet, all the spammers in here aren't.

Oh, cause Guido took personal offense to that post when he shouldn't have. Got ya.

o_O

It surely wasn't because he was needlessly flaming or anything.

Locked on request of the OP.

Pretty stupid thing to admit.

If a thread isn't 5+ pages long, you have no excuse.
