I'm sure there is a LOST thread somewhere within the Media section, but I didn't see it - not to mention I don't want to talk about the show as a whole anyway...
The season finale is Wednesday and there is a rumor that 5 people are going to die before it is all said and done. Not to mention, kudos to the producers and ABC for making good on their promise of no season hiatus to worry about. Just wondering if any other LOST fans on here have any predictions about the show, notably the finale, but any other ideas are welcomed of course. I'm excited ![]()

I just assume eventually they are going to stumble upon Gilligan and the gang playing basketball with the Harlem globetrotters.

I highly doubt that however.

It's not a Rumor. It said on the Commercial.

ABC Sets Spring 2010 As the End For 'Lost'
http://select.nytimes.com/gst/abstra...AC0894DF404482 The show isn't even planned out yet. The writers think up the next season and what's going to happen as they go. |

I just wonder, is it 5 people we actually care about their death, as in it will affect the show - or is it going to be another case like that couple that got bitten by the spiders and buried alive... because a big deal got made about that and it ended up being two people that weren't exactly in the spotlight.

I was meaning the finale in regard to Weds and the end of the season, not really the end of the show. I personally have no idea where it is going. The only thing that made sense, makes no sense - where they are all dead and the island is kind of a place for them to "go" but the writers and producers have all said that is a no, that they are alive, breathing, and living life.

I stopped watching after the season 2 finale, when the giant electromagnet exploded.

Wrong. They have disproved this theory, and it is pretty obvious because of the nature of the show... Many things that seem unimportant early on eventually have a more important meaning in later seasons.

That was a great episode, the best one in a while X3
**SPOILER FOR THOSE WHO DIDN'T SEE IT** I thought it was interesting that they showed us the future of Jack, rather than another look into his past. I wonder who it was that died and nobody went to the funeral. **END SPOILER** |

Very cool finale...weird idea though:
SPOILER If Jack's "flashback" was the future then when the black doctor asked if Jack was drunk in the hospital...why did Jack say "Get my father down here and if he's more drunk than I am you can fire me"...his father died a LONG time ago and I'm pretty sure Jack wasn't drugged up enough to forget that his father was dead.

Guys, I'm gonna make a new thread where we can talk about spoilers. I'll just warn in the title.
