Default Checkpoints

i though of it when i was reading a thread about excite bike and hidden arrows, what if at certain points in the song, there would be hidden checkpoints that check your combo/ notes hit, and if its higher then what it should be it autofails the song.
that way there wouldnt be people who get rank 1 in a song and knock all the rank 1 people to rank 2[even though there scores get deleted anyways]

I still like something I came up with a while back better, of automatic autofail when you reach the max combo of a song. I think it'd be simpler that way, also.

What if the last arrow is a jump? Then anyone who hits a secret arrow would still get 1 more than the max combo.

True dat. Considering that a lot of songs end in jumps. Failing you at the end of a song wouldn't do much good.


BUT, what if you are in a challenge or in MP? What if you loose it all beacause you really and truly accidentally hit an secret arrow?
