Yo, guys. I've been playing ITG for SIX HOURS today. I can do every 8 except for Bloodrush medium and Destiny hard. But the point is I did my first expert song. It was Ride the Bass. Yes, I tried Birdie, ROMeo and Juli8, We Know What To Do, and Da Roots, but I pretty much got pwn3d on all of those. I got a 61.xx%.
Its a shame that my head is killing me and I'm too tired to even sleep, but now, I can safely say to the friggin' WORLD. "9!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I might be over-enthusiastic, but I did a 9!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Yay for me! I can do 13s! But seriously, good job. If that's your idea of good, then you should be proud.

Good job passing your first nine. Trust me, if you had recently been playing DDR before you started to play ITG, that conversion is not fun. I just recently passed Pandemonium Expert with a 73.42%. ^_^
Get ready for the 10's...They are a bitch. |

Thanks, but I only played DDR three times. One was a year ago when I was at this place in Ohio. I was curious about DDR and decided to try it... and fail badly (it wasn't fun). Another time was at the same place several weeks ago. I tried to do Cartoon Heroes, but I didn't know how to change the speed, so I also failed badly. The last time was yesterday when I went to my local ITG machine place, but it was closed at first. I went to an arcade nearby with a DDR machine and tried Xepher (I don't know which one, but it was a 9-footer) and the machine sucked and I failed badly.
After that, I found out the place opened after I left, so I want there and played for six hours. There were several other 9's I could have done if I wasn't so wiped by the time I was ready. |

I can do several 9s on DDR, but I don't play ITG.

You should try My Summer Love on DDR. It's without a doubt the easiest 9 on any machine.

I would if I didn't hate DDR machines so much.

Also, try D-Code on Expert soon. It's incredibly easy for a 10. It'll probably be your first.

I'm going to the place where there's the local ITG machine on Saturday. I haven't played ITG since I made this thread, and I'm about to go crazy. My goal for next Saturday is 20-25 9's and 1-2 10's

Go for D-Code and Queen of Light for your first 10s.

I looked at the stepchart for Queen of Light. It looks really annoying, like ROMeo and Juli8. The only reason I didn't beat ROMeo and Juli8 was because I got pissed with all the hands involved and gave up.

The hands aren't too awkward. Only a few of them are really tricky. There's one where you have to switch off from your hand to your foot on a hold note and a few where you kinda have to reach between your legs. The rest of them flow pretty well if you stay crouched the entire time and memorize the spins.

None of the spins or crossovers in Queen of Light are necessary...the freezes don't drop. Also, you never have to switch a hand to foot, you can just do the hold with your hand. I find it to be a lot easier that way.

Well, I went to the ITG place again today. I didn't do a 10, and I only did one other 9. It was We Know What To Do. I got a 61% on it the first time and a 58% the second time. However, I got an 80% on an 8 and I 78%'ed Zodiac hard, and it's a friggin' ridiculous 7. And I was tired too. Check out my screenshot on Anubis medium. Mine is the one on the left. The one on the right belongs to one of my retarded-ass friends.

haha Zodiac hard is my favorite 1x no bar chart ever.
Next time you play try Bend Your Mind hard for a 9. There's a section of 16ths but it's pretty easy to BS your way through and the rest of the song is just technical crossover and hand stuff (but only 4ths and 8ths).
