Fat kid gives in
i went to the mall with my friend and i we wanted to see if there were any good peoples on DDR in the arcade that i could play. so this arrogant fat kid comes in, and im broke as **** so i couldnt play him, but i still watched. lmao, when he tried to jump his fat weighed him down and his bitch titties were floppin. aint that hott? then when the arrows get intense he starts gaspin n **** and just gives up. i found this hilarious.
peoples, practice DDR at home and actually GET GOOD AT IT before you play at the mall, lol. ~SK~FIRE~ |

Im not so sure if i agree with that. I started playing DDR at the mall and improved way better on the nice metal pads then on the home version.

I played an imported DDR from Japan 5 years ago.
IT WAS AWESOME.

Re: Fat kid gives in
I tried to play the home version at my band lock-in near the end of the first semester.
I couldn't tell the difference between the pad and the tile. |

Umm usually you start out in the arcade. Just because someone is a bit overweight doesn't mean they can't practice and get good at DDR. If they are actually trying and not camping the machine, you shouldn't have any problem with them playing.
The bar is legit. It was put on the machines for a reason. The reason home versions don't come with bars (some people use this as their argument against bars) is because when you buy the home version, they assume you are going to be using the controller, hence the "Get the full expierence buy a dance pad" or something along those lines, which is on the back of the games. The bar helps me so much, and I use a chair at home. Example of my score difference with/without bar: Happy Angel on 3x - 48 greats without bar, with bar 2 greats. |

Re: Fat kid gives in
I have the home version but I hate it. The metal pads at the arcade are so much better and I am way to poor to afford the nice metal pads for home.
As for "bar rapeing" I dont personally it screws me up and the only time I really see ppl doing it is for songs like Chaos challenge. Witch I completely understand. |

Why don't you give the "fat" kid a break and quit bashing on him. Whether or not he plays DDR in a public place or not shouldn't be any of your concern. If you think it's disgusting, then walk away and wait until a skinny, pretty kid jumps on and starts playing until you watch. The fact that the fat kid is playing DDR to lose weight or to have fun is respectable. You should try taking a step back out of your one-sided mind and think about why other people do things. Quit being so judgemental. Also, at what point is a person good enough at DDR that you think they should be ALLOWED to play in the arcade? Think about how much time the kid spent getting as good as he is now. I'm sure that when you were first starting, you would be pretty pissed off is somebody better than you started teasing you and told you to go home and get better before you played in public. There's a reason an arcade is public. It's so that any kid, either fat, skinny, white, black, albino even, can go there whenever they please and play DDR however they like. If you have a problem with any of that, take it up with the manager of the arcade and see how they feel about it. Until then, don't come complaining on the interwebz. |

Re: Fat kid gives in
Well, I never played it in an arcade because I can't find it in our poor, little town... Yes...
I had no idea you could play DDR in a chair. To make up for my lack of balance, I just flail my arms around... I look funny when I play DDR...

Fuck off.
I'm overweight but I'm pretty decent at DDR. Just because someone is fat doesn't mean you're better than them. Also you fail at life because you're an ignorant prick. Also you type like a gigantic fucktard. Also you're probably fat and depressed and just making fun of people on the internet to feel better about your miserable life. Go die in a fire. Slowly.

SK, the subject of grammar means little to me, you're still an ass.
Also, I can't name a single person who hones their skills at home. |
