I seem to have trouble with my PA on jump streams and i can't AAA songs because of this. When i do jumps, a lot of the time I get one perfect and one good, or average. Is there some way that i can stop this? Because I've been trying for quite a while now, and I still have trouble with it. I could have way more AAAs if i get this problem fixed.

All you can do is practice the syncing of your fingers.

I'm ok when its just liike one or two jumps, but when it comes to jumpstreams like world of dreams, i get such a bad PA.
EDIT: I just played World of Dreams. I got a new record with 82 goods. That's how bad my PA is. At least no averages =D Last edited by remedy1502; 05-10-2007 at 06:19 PM.. |

make sure you hit the two notes together, as opposed to splitting them.
also, make sure that you are in fact going at a constant speed in time with the music, and not faster or slower, which would result in goods.

When I do jump streams, if they get too fast I've noticed that after a while one hand starts to go faster than the other, as if i were doing gallops. It's kinda weird. I focus on hitting them the same time, but it still doesn't work. Does it make a difference if I lift my fingers off the keys high, or should I keep my fingers closer to the keys? I'm not sure if what I just said makes sense, try and understand it. I'm sorry for that. XD

I personally keep my hands almost always on top of the keys.

Time to admit to everyone...
I cheat. On a stream of ALL jumps (Not like: jump, 3 single notes, and a jump) I one-hand it. I one hand TGWP Part 4, because I can't do it 2 handed for sme weird reason. For example...I play AS-KL...but to do jumps I use IJ-KL. All I have to do is set 2 extra hot keys. ![]() That's my secret, and other ways have been suggested. EdiT: At certain songs when I HAVE to, I do a weird count. I look at the BPM, then count in my head, bring my hands up high, and time them both correctly. Works wonders for me. |
