Just a little question that probably nobody except for the admins know, when do the non-subscribers get to change their background colors?

You don't. You subscribe and then you get that perk.

Actually, the costum colors for the background has been added for whoever wants it. Even for non-subscribers!

Just what it sounds like. The theme (type of image) for the arrows that scroll on the screen.

Banner is a 256 x 80 picture, usually in PNG format.

Background is called "name-bg" and is 640 x 480, usually in PNG format again.

Both are put in the folder with your .sm file.
