I disagree. That means that anybody with a little over shihen unlocked could get a free t-shirt. That'd be more than 100 people easily, which would just be way too much money spent.
The only way I see it working is if it doesn't actually cost the developers any extra money for exchanging credits or whatever, hence, the subscription suggestion. The rate would have to be higher too IMO, but that'd be up to the people in charge. ^_^

I love the idea...but if it costs Synth cash...No way...Synth is way too good to us as it is with Spontaneous Contests...If subscriptions are free to give...then it would be great for veteran members who play alot and don't have a credit card or whatnot.

Subscriptions or other purely online things for credits = very possible
Tangible objects like T-shirts for credits = very impossible.

Ya.
I would love having to be a subscriber just by paying with credits. I don't have the money to pay real money for the subscription. This idea would also encourage people to play FFR even more which is a good sign. ~swamiguy |

The reason WHY synthlight opened the shop is to help pay server costs... you take that away and FFR goes *motions handsign for pooping used in "meet the fockers"*

The real life FFR shop is for the rich.
Actually it's not all expensive, it's just that I have to save my money for something else. And I agree with you chunky_cheese. Without the shop, FFR will slowly go into bankrupt. ~swamiguy |

For subscription:
15k credits = 1 month 85k credits = 6 months (you save 5k credits!) 165k credits = 1 year (you save on one month!) Rofl. |

This idea doesn't really work out that well. It would be like saying, for every 1Gbyte of data transferred, I charge each of you $5. That seems like a worthy amount. The more you play the more I charge. If I said this, you would instantly call me insane. Now imagine if we were to do just that and we were to pick one of you to handle the cost for everyone. Lets say for each 5Gbyte transferred, we charge mountain_dew17 $5.
It would be the equivalent of charging a site for you to use it. I just don't think that would work unless we win the lottery. What would work? I am not sure, it would take some thought. Perhaps credits = $$ for subscribers on some level. There are other options but they would really need to be well thought out. I am up for suggestions but we already pay incredible amounts to bring you guys a free game and we do it without the backing of a gazillion dollar studio. If I could afford to give everyone a T-shirt, I would in a second. You know me. Nothing helps FFR more than new traffic, new inbound links and subscribers. This is why we offered the "Come Play with Us" links to earn free T-shirts. Cheers, Synthlight |

Thing is, synth is trying his best, but the idea just won't work. Server loads cost loads. SO PAY UP! *mails paycheck to synth*

i also put up a suggestion for paying for profile skins trough credits, that would work also |
