I was thinking, can we purchase shirts etc. from the ffr store via ffr credits? like.. for example, you could have it be like 200k for a t-shirt.. voice opinion.

From the title, I thought you meant that every credit you get equals one dollar in the store.
Sounds like a good idea, but may members can reach 200k pretty easily. Let's see if Synthlight can afford to do this process. |

I find it hard to see this happening.
Unlike the CPWU idea this doesn't bring anyone new to the site which means that it doesn't increase traffic. No traffic means nothing in return for Synth. It's kinda like asking for a shirt because you've been here for so long and have so many credits. Also you would need a way to filter out hackers who cheat credits. EDIT: This would be cool though. I mean after you have so many credits you don't really have much to do with them...

things like this have been discussed .. but there is a considerable amount of work to be done to deal with this ..
Looking to the future, I can't say yes, I can't say no .. but I can say, converting tokens into something specifically like shirts is way off in the future ..However, there may be other things more likely possible ... Last edited by JasonKey; 05-7-2007 at 07:31 PM.. Reason: clarification .. |

Well, instead of giving T-shirts away, maybe Credits could be used only for subscriptions? Considering those don't cost Synth any money like the T-shirts do (at least I don't think giving subscriptions costs money...)

for the person who said it... 200,000 is NOT something easy to get. takes around 10 billion grand total score to get 200,000 credits.
legit, that is.

It's an OK idea, but eventually they'd be sending hundreds of shirts maybe even thousands :P

lmao credit cap at 25 would be awesome.
YAY 200k for a shirt at that price would take me around a year... When it'd take 2hours work to buy it... |

Shirts would be great and all, but it seems like it would probably be a little too costly for Synth...
I like rednanaki's subscription idea better. It seems more reasonable. |
