Training Mode....
Maybe this has been suggested a million times but it would be cool to have some kinbd of training mode.
Oh, I see, you're all like :"EWWWWW!! Thats for n00bs!!" Well read on and maybe you'll change your mind. 1) The training mode would be an extra style of music (like arcade or dance or whatever). 2) You won't be able to lose, unless you press the quit button. 3) You won't win any credits. 4) The training will be there to practice only the difficult moves that appear like once in all a song and makes you miss a "No-Miss Combo"(Like those nasty "Left-Down-Up-Right-Left-Down-Up-Right....). That way, you won't have to restart the song again and again and again, untill you suceed. I'm waiting for your comments! Verruckter |

more coding for synth, probably not enough demand. If you were able to get a good number of people to support it, I'd say go for it, but why add an extra feature for only a few people, ya know?

hmm.. there are these songs.. their 'for beginners only' why not play those.. until yuou inprove enough.. then move on to easy.. then standard.. then tricky.. then difficult.. then challenging.. just like the rest of us.. so that you may save synth some time and maybe inprove the game for the majority.. instead of a few people who are too lazy to just play songs over and get their style down!

Just play the whole song over again. You get better with every arrow you hit, even though you might not realize it now.

A training mode my be good, but that would mean more coding for synth and a eventual delay of .68! :O We don't want to have that happen do we!? |

....Wouldn't playing only those parts kind of ruin the fun of the game? And judging by your 'tough pattern' comment (the Left Down Up Right combination) I'm guessing you're a one-hander. What about the n00bs that are 2 handed? If you want to practice more, just get Stepmania instead. Save Synth some time and just play the game as is.

I support this movement, but not until a later date. As it has been said before, there are a lot of other things that are more of a necessity than this. Training mode is more of a luxury that should just be nicely added when Synth is running out of other ideas.
Although I feel your pain on the left-down-up-rights and vice-versa. I hate playing Neomax and getting a 600+ some combo and then screwing up that bedamned set of quick turns right at the end before the jackhammers. Practicing that spot over and over again would be nice, especially since it really is at the VERY VERY END of the song. |

Ok, well it was just an idea like that.
BTW, I know u can't code in Photoshop, but it could be useful with graphics and stuff....anyways. |

Yeah, I think I vaguely remember a tutorial, but I probably never played it, seeing as how I had DDR, so I figured I knew everything, being experienced enough to beat Super Mario.
