Most likely no on the jacks. Tha 160 BPM causes problems.

If they go really well with the music then they'll be alright. If you feel that they are necessary, put them in. The worst that can happen is the judges will tell you to take them out.

160bpm 16th jacks = 3 framers, partially 2 framers
and you know, you can't hit 3 framers on-time to get them.
So I think they are against the purpose of this game.

Basically I strongly recommend not to use them unless there's a really good musical reason, or just it's a really fast song.

i had jumping-jacks (lol) in my Idyll V2 file in this batch.... 160 BPM, but they went exactly with the music....

Meh, I have a part in the song I'm stepping that's a little too much like Turbulence with the jacks but I think I'm gonna just take them out. I really want my song to be AAA-able.

While we're on this discussion, what about 210 BPM 8th jacks in a stream?

There's a section with a lot of streams in a 210 BPM song in my SotY submission, and I'm starting to worry that 210 BPM streams are going to completely ruin my chances of getting it in the game.

210 BPM streams is okay becuase the worst you can have in a 16th stream is an 8th jack, so it'll all be 105 BPM 16th jacks which are all 4 framers (the cutoff is like 112.5 BPM)

HOWEVER:
Your SotY file sucks I can tell without having played it. Go get skill first then come back and make a marathon. The only thing you'll get for a 10 minute file is hate unless it's stepped PERFECTLY the whole way through. GIven your track record you have aproximately infinity years until that happens, so therefore: no.

EDIT- just for clarification, I''m not saying I could do it either...
I'm just saying that I have the foresight to see that it's pretty godamn impossible >_>

I think stream patterns really don't matter and you don't have to try to avoid 8th jacks in a stream. I try to avoid putting in minitrills into stream that fast (see SP to see how bad that registers), but 8th jacks are unavoidable if you're going to have a stream that isn't purely rolls.
