Default Official Happy Birthday Thread

It's time for a thread where users can come here to celebrate their birthdays. I just thought this thread would be a good idea for everyone on FFR to celebrate birthdays, without making a whole bunch of individual threads to clutter the forum. Instead of having a whole bunch of threads that last a day or two, I'm hoping that this thread could last much longer.

If you do post here, I hope the users will give here you a:

I know I will.

If you'd like, you could share with us how old you are now, where you're going to spend your birthday and for us older kids, how bad your hangover is. Enjoy!

*Sticky Please?*

Thanks. I have been so busy with coaching baseball, I haven't been able to get around to it until now.

I find consolidation of threads to be restricting and not doing the subject justice.

Didn't we decide against this because having a thread made specifically for you on your birthday is much more special?

I think we did.

No, it's a good idea, but I distinctly remember having a conversation in which someone (while being a jackass to a member who had made a birthday thread for a lesser-known user) suggested making an official thread and it was shot down.

I just don't think it's a good idea, because it isn't like milestones (1k posts, 500 posts etc.) that pop up every day. Birthday threads are more rare and they should be individual in my opinion. I just don't think this is necessary.

I think I remember the post you are talking about. Dreamscanner made it for some RB guy right?

Birthday. It happens every year. All the birthday threads are basically +1 for most people. Its not like its a wedding or something that only happens in a lifetime where it is truly special. Or we could have a separate thread for birthdays if its a milestone like 13, 18, 21, 30, 40... Those would mean a lot more and be more rare.

How about a Birthday Archive thread? Everyone can make their own individual thread, but there can be a thread that links to all birthday threads as sort of a commemorative thread.

Maybe I'm getting a little silly.

Like a section in a category for birthdays? That could work.

I don't think there's anyone on FFR that is older than Synth. I could be wrong.

What a coincidence!

FB users will know what I'm talking about. Can't wait!
