I think I'm going to quit grinding my priest again for a while. I might be doing zruns before too long (just signed up to go with this Outsiders group), but I definitely won't be playing for exp for a while.

Don't know where I should allot my time though. I think I might go to ObeyTrice or maybe Afroblood. Then again, my fizard is 45, so he'd be the easiest to get to higher levels.

Decided to try out a pure int/blood cleric. Got my int up to like 35 or so, I'm gonna raise it on EQs for a while I think. It's level 9 right now.

Even I saw that coming.

I think I waited a bit too long, but I still think it would have been a success. I made the character completely normal until level 30 -- as in pure Int until then. At level 30, I started pure HP. It was on a brand-new server, so there was really no way to get outside support. I was soloing stirges with 1hko claws. That's all I could do. Got it to 33 and promptly quit.

My friend has a level 53 mace page that he never plays anymore. He has a near-perfect Maple Doom Singer (or whatever the 2H mace is) and a bunch of near-perfect Golden Mauls. I bet it wouldn't take much to get him to loan out the account, but only to Omega.

Pages use maces, fellas.

It only totally fell apart because I needed someone to play Afroblood while I healed on my priest (and at present, would have needed HB as well ). But then they nerfed snail shell throw so it can't be used to leech anymore.

So now my plan is to leech her up at Retz (which appears to be on par with ~30 experience rate anyway) until she can fully heal herself well at which time I'll get her on PQs.

But really, a few more levels and I could have had her leeching at Grims and up to 50 easily. I expected that around 50, I'd be able to fully heal from a hit from Grims and would, therefore, be able to get around on that character by myself, getting super fast levels all the while.

But now I have to get probably about 10 more levels and I'll be able to PQ, and PQ is the first place where it is actually beneficial to have lots of HP.

So really, I would suggest adding all in int until the level where you can 1hk a certain monster that you want to level on until about 35. Probably hornies or zmush. After you can 1hk 100% of the time, just add pure HP. The only catch here is if you need more magic attack to be able to heal yourself enough in PQ... I can't really help there, actually... That's the next step in my HP cleric: find out how much Alishar hits for and find out exactly how much magic attack is required to be effective in healing against Alishar.

Either way, beginners get into ludi PQs, so an HP cleric should have no trouble getting in since they'll at least help a little even if they can't heal the party full.
