Re: Homosexual Marriage
Well I think homosexual marriage is all but right. Its just not right to see 2 men walking down a street holding hands. You can't expect to have kids (unless they adopt one) with 2 dudes or 2 girls. Its like trying to put a square block into a circle hole (think of kindergarten times) its not gonna work. THAT **** IS WRONG!!!

Re: Homosexual Marriage
Well this is critical thinking, so the most logical thing to do in that situation is either cut the block into a smaller square so that it would fit in the hole, or cut the hole into a square shape. The third option would be to throw the whole thing at the nearest person but that wouldn't accomplish anything.

Re: Homosexual Marriage
Gay marriage is definatly fine in my eyes. The only problem with it is them adopting kids. It doesnt seem fair to the kid to have to grow up with gay parents. Although it is better then being an orphan so i dont know.

Because they dont have the opportunity to have a mother. A mother is where a child comes from and there is somewhat of a special connection between a female and her child.

HAHAHAHAHAHA
You know, a study was done recently on what is more comforting to a child undergoing a medical procedure, the presence of their mom or the availability of Video games. Guess which one provided the most comfort pretty much across the board? Guess which one showed no difference from the control group? |

But I personaly see no problem with homosexual marriage. Would I go out and marry another man? No, but I don't realy care if another guy does. That's his choice in life. I think's it's been brought up before now (I didn't have time to read all 13 pages, just the first and last few) that, while marraige origionaly was purely religious, today there are legal rights that go with the marraige- tax reductions and such. I honestly think that any two people who want to live together and enjoy these right should be able to do so. The whole 'civil union' thing sounds like the best solution to me. |

As for it being like putting a square block (or a cube, to be accurate) in a circle hole... I'm assuming that was a vague reference to sex in which case you should probably talk to your parents. If gay marriage means more children getting adopted then how could you be against it? That's saying that you'd rather have kids rot in an orphanage then go to a family where they may have a chance at a semi-normal life. |

Re: Homosexual Marriage
yes some ppl believe that marriage is just so you can have babies and furhter the species and whatnot
i don't believe that...at all marriage basically is a special bond between ppl with legalities and such to deny anyone from marrying another person is just idiotic i mean how would you like it if one day you decided to get married but someone came up behind you, slapped you on the head, and said no that's just gross or something...and yes i kno it's not likely...but still personally, i don't think i want to get married... i believe that in a true relationship, you just need the love and commitment you don't need marriage but lots of ppl think otherwise and that's just fine with me ppl need to learn to be more open minded and accepting or they should just go play in traffic

Re: Homosexual Marriage
I like the idea to allow homosexual marriages.. I think it's a MUST.. Since, in America everyone has Rights, Freedom of speech.. and such more..
But.. Let's think about it know. Why do people cringe thinking about the thought of Gay Marriage?.. Is it that they're Homophobic?.. or just straight-out *insert name of man gentials..* .. Ya know?.. Well.. anyways.. I think it SHOULD be allowed.. because that's just wrong to say that you can't be allowed to be yourself, cause either way, We're gonna do it anyways. *shrug* Buut.. since the people that control the whole nic-nac-patty-wack want to be like that.. *shrug* You can't really do anything about it unless if you really take some action.. ^^ I'm not sure why anyone can deny love like that.. :3
