This is really, really horrendous. I can't imagine what kind of shock I'd be in if that happened in my school. That has to be so frightening for anyone who knows anyone that goes to the school or anyone who goes there. Especially parents.

I heard the shooter only used one 9mm handgun. Freaking crazy that he killed that many people with only that one small firearm .. considering that the columbine shooters had superior firearms and killed less then half then what this asian did. I live in virginia and I'm finishing up my senior high school year .. VA Tech was a definite possibility of college, but not anymore

omg, i saw this on the comcast news online, then they were even talkin about it on TRL, thats so horrible....we hav some messed up people in our society these days
everyone say a prayer for all the people who died, were hurt, and the families/friends that lost someone

Just talked to someone at VA, gunman reportedly used 2 9mm's.

This is just sick. I'm honestly afraid for my life.

dude, i saw this when i went to the nurses for a migrane to be sent home, 3 hours later once i got some sleep, my migrane was gone, anybody think that god might be telling me something?

Okay, guys, I realize some of you are totally unaffected by this tragedy, but out of respect for the people who may know someone at VA Tech or those people just feeling deep compassion for the victims, I am requesting that you keep your sarcastic comments to yourself.

There are several forums that are making light of the situation, and if you truly feel that you comment is that hilarious, you may go elsewhere to make it.

The fact that he didn't go into the classroom screaming war-cries shows that he had some intelligence, but killing someone just 'cuz is insanely retarded. They haven't found out anything about him, correct?

It's not confirmed, but it is suspected that he killed his girfriend, or whatever she was to him first out of a previous argument, and then for whatever reason, probably insanity, decided to go into random classrooms and kill people.
My girlfriends brother was in the building right behind the one where it happened. It was scary as hell when we heard about it.

Uhm, my family still hasn't heard from anyone if they're kids that go to VT are safe.. this is like, really stabbing at me, and like.. It's just ****ed up, really.

... like, I don't know.. some of my friends from like church go to VT and I haven't been to church in like what.. 2 years? They're always begging me to go.. and God, if any of them have passed away because of this incident, I'm just going to hate myself forever because I've just been completely ignoring them for so long..
