Nah, they'd claim that we set two impossible reqs instead of one, since FC BB Revenge is doable by less than 10 people.

The biggest problem here is that it makes it so that there are other ways of getting a skill token besides having skill. This is a blanket no-no and will simply never happen.

honestly, i think the idea of needing every single token is just plain retarded and greedy. FFR is a free to play game and still every week and big event we get new songs. those who are dedicated enough to help pay to run FFR and stuff deserve to be rewarded. this convention is deff something that helps FFR, however. I dont think there should realy be a song or anything else for that matter for atending. as shash said, just being there s good enough. im sure most of u7s would go if we couold, but that dont mean we shouold get wat those who actualloy went got. watever. u thickheads will probably disregard wat i just said anyays.

Three things:

1) As Shash said, it doesn't hurt your level rank stats if you don't have it.
2) It sounds like it won't be that fun regardless.
3) If you're genuinely devastated and heartbroken from not having ONE token... maybe you should reevaluate yourself, your priorities, and your outlook on life.

everyone stop complaining and grow up... it makes it more interesting that there are songs like vrofl, that take effort to unlock that arent available to everyone else. There are about 300 songs on FFR... you can live without 2 or 3...

The thing people are annoyed about is that, with every single token thus far, it has been atainable through going to the ffr website and either playing to get better to attain the harder skill tokens, or through logic and thinking for normal tokens. Now when you throw the aspect of geography into the equasion it unbalances it. Personally i know i could never attend a convention as they will be in the US which is what, 2500 aussie dollers from where i am i think, plus travel and acomedation. But that does not bother me so much.

If i think back to, World of Warcraft (yes i used to play and it sucks and stole some months of my life) when people went to a convention, or did things outside of the game, they got something small, useless but something. Like a small non combatant tiny pet. Did nothing apart from look cool.

So from my personal point of view that holds no weight in the arguement i dont think a song. But perhaps, new character (honestly who really cares about characters), Custom Forum title, Mp chat colour options (yes people can hack it but they suck) there are heaps of options, not to mention things like ffr shirts and other merchandise as reward for coming.

People are perfectionists. If there's something to collect that not only give the joy of collecting but access to extra content, they're bound to want the entire collection. FFR's Tokens are no different. Two to three songs a week, unfortunately, does not make up for that one last song, that feeling of privilege, that last token of the current collection.

The 18th Token is fine and dandy (though I think it's more of a skill token then a regular one). You can actually enter the tournament from any location, not having to pay a cent to enter or register. People get screwed out of a single token (back to the perfectionism) because the method of getting it is completely unfair to those who can't pay for it or the younger population of FFR who can't get their parents/guardians to pay (subscription doesn't count unless they make subscription songs that are for skill tokens exclusive).

We are not entitled to every single token; however, you'll only be pissing more people (mainly tokentards) off by making tokens convention exclusive. If..remember that. IF you make them convention exclusive.

It's a fantastic idea other than ONE little problem.. If they're rewards, and there's a guy who lives 10 minutes away, and a guy that lives 5,000 miles away, the guy who lives 10 minutes away is "rewarded" only because of where he is, not the dedication he has to FFR. If you do give a token for the convention, just make sure it is available at all of the conventions in the future, so everyone in their possible area gets their chance.

Its not about the token.
Its about being with other FFR's.. isnt that good enough? So we get an extra bonus for going. So? There will be more opportunities in the future. Just wait your turn.

I'm sure if there's a token given at this convention, then it'll also be given at all future conventions.

Same with token 18 and tournaments.

And Zeron: That's exactly why I want to get MORE songs that are hard to get access to...so that people shrug off the idea of absolutely needing to have every song unlocked for them. If there are a dozen or so that under 100 people have, and no one besides the level admins has EVERY song, perhaps people won't feel so whiny when we give out song exclusive song access as a reward?
