Time and money are two big reasons people may not take a trip to go to a convention or something. Typically I find that if I have one (time or money), I don't have the other. I don't really mind the idea of convention attenders getting something for their trip, but I don't like the idea of making it a token that no one else can get. My impression was that regular tokens were supposed to be accessible to everyone, not a limited group of people. There's already one token I'll probably never get because it's an official tournament prize. I don't really like the idea of seeing more tokens become inaccessible because I didn't do something like spend time and money on a trip to a convention. I'm not sure what I'd give instead, but I'd prefer that regular tokens remain available to everyone. Just my thoughts.

i kinda want cia rave v2. not being able to play this songs makes me feel out of the loop. so yeah. even if it is a crap file i still want to try it out and have fun with it.
but honestly, its your choice and i guess i'll try to live with it =P

yea convention tokens would be kinda unfair to people,as dronak said,to people who dont have time or money. Tokens should be for everyone not just people who have that much time on thier hand and that much $ on hand to go to a convention thats in,too many people,in another state(or country).so plz plz plz plz plz plz plz dont make convention tokens they will get many complaints and will be unfair.

I dunno where you guys got the idea that all tokens are supposed to be accessible to everyone. They aren't. Some are going to be special things that a select few can get, like token 18...token songs are rewards, not songs you're entitled to, which is why they aren't on levelrank.php.
Though in this case, I think that since part of the POINT of CIA V2 is that everyone can play an 8ths-based CIA Rave, it's really not a great idea for a convention-exclusive song.

Easy for you to say shash, you get all the tokens no matter what. Everyone wants to play a new song, and everyone should have the right to, that includes the vrofl given to only top 8, I think there should've atleast been a link that we could leak.

The only reason I'm not going to the convention is because of the cost. I don't care too much for having a CIA Rave that's all 8ths, but to me, it seems like giving away a tokens at a convention seems like it's making FFR a pay to play game.
