Default This isn't just a paranoid Norton Antivirus situation.

I was playing FFR on explorer, and I got a few notices from Norton. My dad checked it, and it was actually something that you might call a threat. Saw multiple ports, checked the times and histories, and the threat even had a category, nickname, the works.

I'd like an explanation.

Was it a virus threat or a hacker threat, because I have Norton also
and there are MAJOR differences... if you can explain better

It was a trojan horse. I'll see if I can get a screenshot later.

What was the virus and what file did it supposedly came from? You know that the FFR servers are linux and you probably running windows right?

Often these things will come up when you have spyware installed on your computer from another site. Keep in mind that we can have up to 60,000 or more different people a day downloading files and if there was a file that was really virus laden, we would have 60,000 complaints.

Give me as many details as you can and i will tell you everything you need to know.

Cheers,

Synthlight

Sorry, I got removed from my dad's house rather early last night, and without notice.

You're just going to have to trust that I was on FFR (The game page) during the attack.

Here's the virus "signature".

And some more stuff:
