I said a few thousand years, because it's likely we won't TOTALLY be eliminated in 300 years (unless we blow the planet up. . .) but I'm saying the total erridatication of the human race will take about 1000 years. After that, the world will return to it's intended state (humans being the unintended) and all that will be left are empty ruins of cities and animals.

Or.. we do the fast track and melt the polar ice caps, killing us within about 50 years. Glorius species, aren't we?
