HEy, I have a question or two.
Does synth accuallt\y confirm some of these suggestions? Except for that demo thing he had up a little while ago. and, If he does confirm them, has he confirmed speed mods at all yet? Arrow speeds that is. I know alot of people who dont have trouble reading the fast arrows, but I personally have trouble seeing the order on songs such as Silence. Thanks, ~Bill |

oh. i should add one more... you should be able to re-map the arrow keys. i personally don't like using the arrow keys, and have either zxcv or vbnm mapped in stepmania (depending on solo/double).
it'd be cool if i could use my fav vbnm instead of the arrow keys.

The only thing i would like to see added would be a separate Overall Ranking Section in the Modules area. It would be nice to see like a Top 1000 or something like that. It would probably make the Challenges more useful because the names would get out more often. It would be really nice if the overall rankings could be in real time rather than updated once a day. Thats all i have to say on that.

i don't know if it's already been asked, but could it be made so that you don't lose your "secret" songs when you purchase new songs? i'm not exactly a hardcore player with credits in excess of the 1000s or anything, so everytime i buy something i pay pretty much exact change and break the bank; then i have to go get 25 more credits afterwards so i can play secret zombie room again - its a real hassle

didnt have time to read everything, but i didnt see this in what i did read:
alot of people ask for harder songs, but what i've noticed is that most of the really hard songs are nothing but just button mashers. i find this very annoying, and i like when the arrows actually make sense. in future songs, it'd be good if the stepfiles actually fit the song and werent just impossible with a billion buttons to push in 30 seconds. u can make a song hard other ways, like variable scroll speed or pauses thrown in there (if any of you have played MAX 317.838 in stepmania, u know how hard that can make a song). basically, i consider myself pretty good. i can beat all the songs (not with a high score, but still) but i find it boring beating the hardest songs in FFR b/cs all i do is just randomly hit buttons. i want a challenge, not an impossible button masher.

there are no pauses or speed changes in ffr yet, and the 'button mashing' songs do go to the music (except for aim and silence) so, get better n00b.
1. I like the idea of a song not starting automatically after it's loaded, but instead a play button that appears when it's all loaded up. 2. Ability to sort songs by different categories, ie: difficulty, would be splendid. 3. More horses on the site. :P |

I noticed the combos don't give you any more points. Please change that. Also, some of the high scores have 1 or 2 people with scores double of others.

If there is a downloadable version, there should be a way to create your own songs easier.
Like using Winamp or something. The emulator Kawaks has a similar function, where you can make a playlist and substitute Q sound music in Capcom games for your own music. If a feature like this is in FFR, then people could just make their own steps for their own songs. And will finally be able to play thier favorite 200Million dollar artist in FFR.

Or maybe a feature here that you can make your own songs. Then you just put it in the audio submissions to be judged good enough for FFR.

I think the idea making it controller compatable idea would be good, it would draw more players here. also, maybe you could get more songs because right now, there are a lot, but it's a lot of easy ones (i'm not spectacular, but you know what i mean). more in the difficult, challenging and tricky areas would be nice.
o, last thing, make the ratings for songs a little more accurate, cause some of the ones now are really off.

I posted these in another thread, and... sorry if duplicates if something in this thread (23 pages via forum is a bit much to read for anyone ! ;.; I don't envy you.)
Anyway, suggestions - Have your high score list replace the older person with a high score with a newer person with the high score, ie, show most recent high scores. Would have a bit more variation in the high score lists this way... If it's not already going that way. Hard for me to tell, really. Heh. If it's not already this way or going this way, I figured that it's a good idea since there is a "maximum score." Also, if you add an error checker that calculates score for perfect x the number of steps in the song, you'll correctly cap your scores (ie: "AAA")... Even better, have it report to you when it discovers a score higher than there should be.

you dont even have to read all the posts to find out that THAT WILL BE FIXED in r2, you've posted that just like 6 threads down, your double posting and its a stupid idea because it would take too much time for Synth or whoever would have to program it. and also you most likely wouldn't be able to get AAA scores to get the hi-scores anyways.

Ok, let me just say one thing. There are no secret arrows in R2 so you do not have to worry about scores being over a AAA.
