I agree with several of the above posts, sans Shash's.

I feel that FFR is becoming more inaccessible, and I still like to play that impossible song just for fun. The fact that Shash is pretty firm with his opinions is also a major boo.

Songs should be fairly easy to access. Yes, everyone can enter a tournament, but I don't want to be an FFR nerd, enter a tournament, waste aways the hours, and get into the top 8 just for access to this token. I think a different tournament prize would be more appropriate instead of gaining access to a song that few would have. The prize should be something special that does not affect other people's accessibility to the game. Although I share a similar feeling in regards to skill tokens, I think that even skill tokens are more accessible than token #13.
I basically repeated what everyone has said already, but if Shash wants to take my opinion with a grain of salt, let him be. -_-

oh well not many people like sash anyways, and i sure as hell dont want to waste all of my time playing ffr, i have other things to do such as sports,school, and a social life. the time that i do spend on ffr i would like to be able to access all of the songs.

You guys get anywhere from two to TEN files a week. And yet all I hear is crying and moaning when you're denied access to one song that's a complete joke anyway and would be gone from the game period if I didn't think it would be a nice little reward for tourney winners to get continued access to it.

Right now, I'm sorely tempted to throw every single file I've stepped for FFR into Disabled for a week, since obviously some of you guys don't give half a crap about what I do for the site and start to form a band of people who decide they hate me when I don't give you eternal access to a song that is entirely unfit for the game to begin with.

Keep up the whining and bitching, and I might actually do the bolded line. Because right now, I'm really fed up with some of you, and to be honest, if this is how you're going to act, I don't think you deserve to benefit from any of the work I do here.

Anyways, the obvious problem is that since VBrofl was indeed a joke file, pretty much everyone enjoyed it. It was the first time in FFR history that there was public access to a songfile like it. Taking it away after one day was just such a shock/upset/disappointment (irony: it was April Fool's).

I admit (it's been made clear in a few other posts) that I, too, miss the song, but I don't think blaming anyone party is increasing the chances of getting access to it. In fact, all the "I hate Shash ololol you suck" is likely decreasing the said chances. The more people groan and moan, the less likely it is for Shash to host another tourney. He is, as he said, doing this in his own spare time.

So, really...if anything, stop blaming Shash. If you really need something to blame, just wistfully (but not contemptuously) think about this: one of the main reasons VBrofl is a joke song is clearly because it wasn't meant to be played on FFR, due to obvious problems with jacks, which will be dealt with in 3rd style (in which you'll probably see your fair share of NVLM like files - maybe not).

Still, blaming and complaining about Shash gets you about...nowhere. In the time you take to post some useless comment about him, you could be practicing in order to get into that "Top 8" in the next tourney.

Don't get me wrong; I certainly won't forget about all of the things Shash and Tass contributed for FFR. I'm just making a suggestion/contructive criticism, not whining and bitching. If it looked like I portrayed Shash as a bad guy, well sorry then. I'm not trying to be immature about it. It might help if there were more staff members though :S. A lot of pressure can be relieved if there weren't just a few staff members running the site.

In the end, why should we care if one song isn't released to most of the public? Really, it shouldn't matter to us, since not only is it a joke file, but we didn't earn it. So there. Everyone shut up about it or Shash is going to go over the edge and *gasp* deny more files.
