Okay. I'm sorry if I offended anyone. I have an EXTREME dislike of pornography in any form, and I ignored the fact that not everything is bad about movies/shows like that. I've also heard some bad things about Hentai and such... And while I feel sorry about being a jackass, I still stand by what I said about porn type stuff. That stuff is just wrong.

What's wrong in one culture / household / etc. may very well be greatly accepted in another. Just remember that there are great cultural differences in this world.

And does the hatred for pornography extend to erotica? Erotica consists of "healthy" sexual depictions.

It comes from my respect for women. I hate pornography in every way, shape or form because it's demeaning to women. It flaunts what I believe to be sacred, what I believe should be used in "erotic" relationships. It can ruin marriages and lives, if even one man becomes addicted and doesn't stop.

Well, you didn't answer half of my question, but aside from that...

Many people don't believe it's demeaning toward women. And it's very difficult to argue that ALL pornography is demeaning toward women.

Besides. I find hentai perfectly harmless, in regards to demeaningness. And this thread is about hentai, isn't it? How do you feel about hentai? Personally I view it as much more healthy than "real" porn. It's easier to distinguish it from reality - teenagers in particular often have trouble understanding that porn is based on a nonexistent fantasy-world that isn't righteous, perfect, or necessarily sexy.

Erotica is those pieces of "pornography" that do not demean women. They display beautiful relationships based on love, equality, respect, and sharing, and are usually quite romantic. So this is my second question for this post, the first regarding hentai, and the second here, which is the second time I've asked it....

How do you feel about erotica?
