We don't have permission for Captain Jack's music, so we temporarially put one of his songs in the game after there was news of his death, and were forced to take it down a week later due to the copyright issues.

FFR had informal permission from Captain Jack's niece, daughter or some relative, though were denied permission from the record label. In honor of his death, the song was put in the game, disregarding the copyright issues at hand. After the period of time Synthlight stated it would be in the game for, he removed it.

I thought this thread was supposed to be about Vertex BETA...

Anyway, I don't think they will keep it, because some computers can't press all 4 buttons at once, which is pretty much necessary in this song. That would make it unfair for those who have computers that can't press them all at once.

So I'm going with Fantasticone, they will probably remove the current one, and make a new stepfile for it.

Lol, Alucard4_6, your join date is the same day as my birthday. :P

Anyway, they'll probably remove it in a week or so, but I highly doubt they'll keep it forever. I can't even get past 5 seconds of it because I can only press 2 arrow keys at once. There are also many other people who can only press two at a time. Some people's average rank would drop like nothing because of this song.

So, my guess is that they'll probably keep it for a bit longer, to give everyone a chance to play it, then remove it and make a new stepfile for it.

Works for me, I like this step file a lot. I wouldn't really care too much if it was removed, but I prefer for it to stay up. Just too bad I can't press all 4 arrows at once, that would make it really fun, seeing how long I can last.
