don't get too messed up by the divorce of your parents. It won't do you any good, and it will certainly affect you in a much deeper way that you think. Convince your dad and brother not to move out your actual house, because trust me, you love it much more than you think. If you can't, appreciate every last moment of it and get the best memories you can. The next few years might be a bit tough, but in the end it'll get better.

Don't start playing too much video games, or you'll end up without a girlfriend until your late 16. Also don't eat too much, you'll have a hard time losing those love handles.

Start playing drums right away, and also take singing lessons. You can grow your hair too. Most importantly, have fun, make friends and don't be shy.

Dear Ten Year Old Me,
Well, fifth grade is going to be the last academic year you have straight A's unless you get in with a different peer group come middle school. When Megan says she watched Inu-Yasha, ignore her, she becomes your best friend for two years, but she makes you feel like ****.

Send in your application for Overland High School sooner, you get accepted but you only have a week to get ready for your freshman year. Feel free t go out with Derek. He wears skirts a few weeks after you start dating and he also leaves you for Quinn, but you get him back in the end. Don't forget to cheat on Greg, you'll feel bad about it and never do it again in your life, plus, it makes the two of you better friends and stops him from beating up Derek.

Even though you start getting really depressed, don't start ditching school. It only makes your life worse and your grades drop dramatically. When your dad tells you he doesn't want anything to do with you, it's okay, he was a d**k head anyways.

Never start cutting, you get addicted to pain and pierce your skin on purpose . . . it gets infected and it just wasn't worth it.

Oh, lastly--when you have that threesome with Kristin and Derek. Don't care when she tells all your friends. They won't judge you and it isn't worth your stress.
